What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your air conditioning unit, cleaning clothing, seeing TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a stress on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are significant, numerous property owners find that the convenience, special features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more alluring.

Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Drastically lower or perhaps eliminate your electrical expenses

Whether you're a homeowner, company, or nonprofit, electrical energy expenses can comprise a large part of your regular monthly expenditures. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll create free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you take in, solar will minimize your energy bills and you'll still conserve a lot of cash.

#2 Make an excellent return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't a cost-- they're one of the finest ways to invest, with returns rivaling those of more standard investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electricity bill cost savings, the typical American homeowner pays off their solar panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure against rising energy costs

One of the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge energy prices. In the previous 10 years, property electricity prices have actually gone up by approximately 3 percent each year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical power rate and safeguard versus unpredictable boosts in electrical power expenses. If you're a service or homeowner with changing capital, going solar also helps you much better projection and handle your expenditures.

#4 Boost your property worth

Several research studies have discovered that houses equipped with solar energy systems have greater home values and sell faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more educated about solar, need for homes equipped with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key part of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to create electrical energy from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from rate variations in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your regional economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar industry added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This growth is expected to continue. Because solar-related jobs have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Protect the environment

Solar is an excellent method to reduce your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can significantly reduce that number. A common property photovoltaic panel system will get rid of three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Show your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are essential parts of a company's culture and values. They likewise produce bottom line outcomes. Significantly, customers and communities are recognizing and rewarding services that decide to operate properly. Companies are discovering that "green" credentials are a powerful chauffeur of consumer getting choices, producing goodwill and enhancing business outcomes.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power arrangements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Lots of house owners pick to finance their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar service provider-- owns the planetary system and looks after setup, upkeep, monitoring and repair works. You just pay the solar supplier for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are well-known for their varying and unreliable electrical power rates. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and basic mathematics, we can compute what does it cost? electrical energy will be produced, and most significantly, at exactly what rate, for at least the next 20 years (repaired energy expenses).

Financing

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Difference Between Nuclear And Solar Energy?
I Really Don'T Know Too Much About This Stuff Much But I Know That Solar Energy Has To Do With The Sun But What About Nuclear Energy?

Solar energy is a clean non polluting and renewable source of energy. It harnesses the suns energy using solar panels. Solar has many advantages over nuclear, safer, cleaner, cheaper, easy installation, can be mobile (ie. solar cars.)

Nuclear energy harnesses the energy from the decay of radioactive materials, usually uranium 235. Nuclear energy produces radioactive waste and is a non-renewable source of energy. There are concerns about safety and waste management.

How Does Biomass Affect The Environment?

Biomass in the production of power is the use of renewable organic matter, generally of the plant variety.

The burning of biomass produces carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and oxides of nitrogen and in some cases oxides of sulfer. The fly ash is also a problem in its disposition.

It is not good for the environment. At our rate, in fossil fuel alone should show that it is not a good Idea to use biomass as energy.

Better uses for the environment would be hydro-electricity, geothermal power, solar power, and wind power. There are so many ready made sources of energy we can use instead of burning more toxic "things."

Why Is Wind Energy A Controversial Topic?
Its A Geography Case Study

Hey Steven, you pose a good question. It's interesting that wind power was never controversial in the 30's. For decades, farmers built and installed wind turbines and towers, and it never bothered anyone, in fact, the neighbors frequently helped. Since rural electrification, many of those old windmills have been rusting away. A few have been updated and painted up as a cultural icon, and even fewer actually still function. Since then, technology has made them more efficient, quieter, larger, and more reliable. Now enter the 80's and 90's, and suddenly everyone has an axe to grind about this horrible technology.

I can give you my personal view, which is they are controversial because they have a liberal, anti-oil, environmental stigma attached to them. You're correct that they are simply a geographical item, but politics has taken over for no reason. I like windmills, we have one in the field behind our home that actually produces electricity. Together with our solar array, they run the entire property about 90% of the time. I don't hug trees or throw rocks at SUV's, but that does not free me from the responsibility to try to clean up after myself. After studying the science of energy, it simply does not make sense to me to burn coal to run my air conditioner. The one thing that amazes me about the entire renewable energy field is the amount of misinformation there is. Take your other answers here, like, "Huge maintenance costs, they will never pay for themselves," and so on. Ours has paid for itself several times over the last 11 years. It even pays a premium on the days that our grid power is out, but our home still has electricity, hard to put a price tag on that. As far as maintenance, I have done nothing more than inspect the blades and tower annually, and touch up the paint on ours.

If the technology would never pay for itself, all the power companies would not be racing to get them up in such a hurry. Those websites that are always quoted about, "The failure of wind in Europe," and others are articles posted by groups that stand to lose something to alternative energies. Look at all the, "Clean Coal," ads lately. In the US, 52% of our grid electricity already comes from coal, that is nothing short of a monopoly, so why do they need to advertise? They can see the future, and to them it isn't pretty. This is why wind has become controversial Steven, because it works. It worked fine in the 30's and 40's, and it works even better today.

What Are The Financial, Political, And Technological Limitations Of Solar Energy?
Basically... How Much Future Does This Energy Source Have?

Well it depends from solar energy

but right now we should off have electric cars right now but the man from the gas industry killed the man so he could have more money on oil well shame on them for wanting more money the man should of invested more so he could make more money and oil should be kept as a backup fuel for other stuff

But right now scientists are creating solar cars in australia and they have Solar panels/Turbines and garden Accessories today so youll just find out

Explain Why We Need Solar Energy?
I Need Help.

Why the earth needs solar energy?
why the electricity grid needs solar energy?
why our bodies need solar energy?

maybe you want to be a bit more specific.

the earth needs it because w/o it, it would be colder than Pluto -- like -300 degrees.
