What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning system, washing clothes, viewing TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are substantial, many home owners find that the convenience, unique features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more enticing.

Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Considerably decrease and even remove your electrical expenses

Whether you're a homeowner, company, or nonprofit, electrical energy expenses can make up a big part of your regular monthly costs. With a solar panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will decrease your energy expenses and you'll still conserve a great deal of loan.

#2 Make a great return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electricity bill cost savings, the typical American house owner pays off their solar panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect versus increasing energy costs

Among the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, domestic electrical energy costs have actually increased by an average of 3 percent every year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and secure versus unforeseeable increases in electrical energy expenses. If you're a service or house owner with changing capital, going solar also assists you better projection and handle your costs.

#4 Boost your home worth

Multiple studies have found that homes equipped with solar energy systems have greater home worths and sell faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more educated about solar, need for properties geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial element of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost variations in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar market added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This development is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related tasks have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant contributor to the United States economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a fantastic method to reduce your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A normal property photovoltaic panel system will remove three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are essential components of a company's culture and values. They likewise produce bottom line results. Increasingly, customers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding companies that opt to run properly. Services are finding that "green" credentials are an effective motorist of consumer purchasing choices, developing goodwill and improving service outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Many house owners opt to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This indicates that a third-party company-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and looks after installation, upkeep, monitoring and repair works. You merely pay the solar company for electricity-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are notorious for their varying and undependable electrical energy rates. There is plainly an upward trend.

With solar panels and simple mathematics, we can determine what does it cost? electricity will be generated, and most importantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next 20 years (repaired energy expenses).

Financing

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are The Advantages Of Solar Energy?

There are many advantages of solar energy. First of all it is easily available and we can be sure that when we use it we are not depleting the energy source and moreover it
does not create any toxic things or pollute the environment.
However there are certain
things to look for first is the availability of sun light if the day times are short as in
winter the energy we get is less and the other thing is that we need a conventional battery to store the electricity which is not so green

Why Is It Good For The Environment To Invest In Renewable Resources?

I presume you're talking about solar and wind power, and not biomass like wood and corn (used for ethanol)? You don't say specifically, so we have to guess.

You also make the presumption that investing in renewable resources are "good for the environment." The statement or presumption posed as a question becomes a logical fallacy. Ethanol has not proved to be "good for the environment", for example. Although biomass in the form of wood once supplied 90 percent of U.S. energy needs, all renewable energy sources combined supplied only about 8 percent of in 2009. That's a good start, but barely noticeable as being "good for the economy."

What is it exactly that you don't understand? Or what is it specifically, that you would like to ask? I could guess all day and still not get it. Isn't it perfectly clear that wind and solar energy are cleaner and more environment friendly than burning fossil fuels and polluting the atmosphere and digging up the earth?

Portable Air Conditioner Unit In Arizona.?
Alright Here Are The Details. I Live In A One Story House With 4 Bed Rooms. ( We Converted Our Garage Into A Game Room.) As Im Sure You Know By The Title You Can Already Guess Air Condition In The Summer Time Here Costs For The Majority Of The Electric Bill. My Question However Is. Would It Be Cost Efficient To Purchase A Portable Air Conitioner ( Or Two. Average Which Cover 300 Sq Ft. A Unit) And Hook Them Up Directly To A Off The Grid Solar Panel System. Wheither It Be Battery Back Up Running The Unit Every Other Day Or Buying Enough Solar Panels To Run The Air Conditioners Directly.

You know, it's interesting..
Air conditioners don't really make the air cold as people think.
They remove the heat from the air before the fan blows it inside.
Pretty interesting.
And they are making A/C units more and more efficient all the time.
Some of them run on less power than you think.
But a solar generated power system can be pretty pricey.
Then you might have days in a row when it's overcast, sunless, and hence, no power.
Have you considered putting that money into better insulation and weatherstripping?
That might be more cost-effective.
I don't know how well you insulated when you converted, but there's always more you can do.
Such as replacing regular doors with insulated fiberglass ones.
Or planting shade trees on that side of the house...
There's literally thousands of things you can do.
Sometimes, you can even get a reduction on your bill from your electricity provider.
All I'm saying is- check out all your options before you go and spend all that money on something that might or might not pay off.
Good luck.

Energy Of The Future Is The Sun.. Why?

The sun is powered by fusion energy or you could be asking about solar which would be the plentiful radiation that can be easily collected and as methods improve it'll become cheaper.
Here is my answer to a similar post.

Yes. Theoretically, it is the cleanest and greatest lasting power source. Fusion energy- the source of energy that powers our sun- is created from the energy when 2 protons or H+ ions collide and cause a chain reaction releasing helium and a lot of heat which would then be used to heat water and then turn turbines. At the moment it is not a feasible power source as it takes more energy to maintain the conditions needed for fusion (insane heat / pressure) but it is slowly being improved with new methods. For example using magnetism to suspend plasma and facilitate the reaction.
We have achieved fusion in the form of H-bombs and experiments but we cannot stabilize the chain reaction or control the immense energy released.
The only downside to fusion is that they would need a lot of safety measures to make sure a melt down doesn't occur and resulting in a local H-bomb.

Why Don'T We Use Solar Enfrgy As A Major Source Of Energy For Our Cars,Homes,And Factories?
Solar Energy Is The Best Enviromentally Friendly Source Of Energy. We Must Use It Primarily Replacing Other Sousces. But We Are Not Using It Widely In Cars,Homes,Factories. Why?

Unlike oil, gas, or coal, solar power recieves very little in the way of government subsidies. this means that each solar project must obtain funding individually. The government is worried about getting big sources of power online, so only big solar projects get built. Unfortunately, solar power is not ideal for big projects. It's best use would be in the form of small projects, such as on people's houses, or on top of buildings that use power. The government doesn't see much point in such small-scale projects, so individuals end up footing the bill for these. Unfortunately, it can be as much as 30 years before they begin to see a return in their investment. A lot of people don't stay in the same house that long, so it is not worth it for them to install solar panels. Others simply don't have the free money available to spend on enough solar panels to make much difference. Still others believe solar power is not efficient enough to actually make a difference, or fear that in the time it takes for them to see a profit on their purchase, the panels will have gotten damaged.
