What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for resident to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning unit, cleaning clothes, seeing TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while lowering your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are significant, numerous homeowners discover that the convenience, distinct features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more alluring.

Top Ten Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly lower or perhaps eliminate your electrical bills

Whether you're a property owner, business, or not-for-profit, electrical power expenses can comprise a large part of your regular monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll produce free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will minimize your energy bills and you'll still conserve a lot of cash.

#2 Make a terrific return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they're one of the finest methods to invest, with returns rivaling those of more standard investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical power expense cost savings, the average American property owner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure against increasing energy costs

One of the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge utility prices. In the previous ten years, domestic electrical energy prices have gone up by an average of three percent every year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and secure against unforeseeable increases in electrical energy expenses. If you're a company or homeowner with fluctuating capital, going solar also assists you better forecast and manage your expenses.

#4 Boost your residential or commercial property worth

Multiple studies have found that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater property values and offer faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more educated about solar, demand for properties equipped with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial element of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to generate electricity from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from rate fluctuations in global energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and help your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar industry included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This development is anticipated to continue. Since solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant factor to the United States economy.

#7 Protect the environment

Solar is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially decrease that number. A normal domestic solar panel system will get rid of three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social duty are essential elements of an organization's culture and values. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Significantly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding businesses that choose to run responsibly. Companies are discovering that "green" credentials are an effective motorist of consumer acquiring decisions, producing goodwill and improving organisation outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous house owners opt to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" financing options. This implies that a third-party company-- the solar service provider-- owns the solar system and takes care of installation, maintenance, monitoring and repair works. You merely pay the solar provider for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the energy company.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The utility business are well-known for their fluctuating and undependable electrical power costs. There is clearly an upward trend.

With solar panels and basic mathematics, we can compute how much electricity will be generated, and most notably, at exactly what rate, for a minimum of the next 20 years (repaired energy expenses).

Financing

Frequently Asked Questions

Using Gas Is Cheaper Than Electricity?
Did Anyone Know That Why It Seems For Me That Using Gas To Generate Electricity Is Cheaper Than Buying Electricity From The Pg&E? Here Is My Calculation, 1 Gal Gasoline = 36.6 Kwh (Base On Wiki) My House Month Usage Is 518Kw, Which Cost Me $70.8 But If I Buy Gasoline By My Own, In Order To Generate 518Kw (Assume The Energy Loss Is Small First), I Need To Buy 518/36.6 = 14.153 Gal Of Gasoline, Which Properly Cost Me 14.153 Gal X 3.29 = $46.56. Is There Anything Wrong In My Calculation? Thanks!

You are assuming a 100% efficient gas generator. This is nowhere near the truth.

From Wikipedia:
Modern gasoline engines have an average efficiency of about 18% to 20% when used to power a car.

So you could multiply your calculated cost to run the generator by at least 5.

If you are looking to "get off the grid", a better bet would be to invest in solar or wind. They usually have at least a 10 year pay-back period to re-coup the initial investment.

Is Oil And Potash Used In The Manufacture Of Solar Panels?
I Have Been Told That Solar Panels Are Made From Oil And Potash And Coal And Other Minerals Mined From Fossils In The Ground. Is This True?

Indeed they are.

What solar advocates neglect to mention is that the amount of energy used to mine and manufacture the panels exceeds the amount of energy the panels will generate over their lifetime.

Bit of an eye opener, eh?

Of course, I am not saying there are no good applications for solar panels. What I am saying is that solar energy is not necessarily the environmental panacea some try to tell us it is.

Does Anybody Know How Solar Power Generate Electricity/Heat?

By using solar panels it is possible to have free and green electricity from the sun. There are two ways to generate electricity from the sun: Solar thermal.
This method of producing electricity from solar energy is used more on an industrial scale. Banks of mirrors are used to concentrate the heat from the sun. The heat is then focused and collected. The resulting high temperatures are used to heat water to create steam. The steam is then used in a conventional way to power large turbines that will produce the electricity that is connected to the national grid or utility supply.

How Do Solar Panels Work?
I Need To Know How Solar Panels Work Please Help Me!! Also, If You Know Any Other Additional Important Information About Solar Energy In General Please Tell Me, Thanks.

The most important parts of a solar cell are the semiconductor layers, this is where the electron current is created. There are a number of different materials available for making these semiconducting layers, and each has benefits and drawbacks. Unfortunately, there is no one ideal material for all types of cells and applications.
In addition to the semiconducting materials, solar cells consist of a top metallic grid or other electrical contact to collect electrons from the semiconductor and transfer them to the external load, and a back contact layer to complete the electrical circuit. Then, on top of the complete cell is typically a glass cover or other type of transparent encapsulant to seal the cell and keep weather out, and a antireflective coating to keep the cell from reflecting the light back away from the cell. A typical solar cell consists of a cover glass, a anti-reflective layer, a front contact to allow the electrons to enter a circuit and a back contact to allow them to complete the circuit, and the semiconductor layers where the electrons begin to complete there voyages!
The solar panels, in order to generate power, are using the method of screen-printing, a technique developed for printing fabrics, paper and to produce plastic, glass and metal solar cells. The basic materials of a photovoltaic cell (solar cell) are inexpensive. The homemade solar cells have about 11/4 of the efficiency of commercial silicon solar cells, which turn 10-20 per cent of light energy into electricity. But, being cheap to produce, they can make up the loss in quantity what they lack in quality.

Since They Have Solar Panels, Why Not Install Them On An Electric Car?
And Have A Backup Power Source For Nighttime Driving??? There Would Be No Need To Plug In Or Fuel Up Ever!!

Your concept is great, but there's just one flaw: It's too simple. Since the roof of a car has such a small surface area, very few solar cells can fit on it. Less solar cells = less power. With today's solar cells, it would take days of charging just to drive a conventional car a few miles at a reasonable speed. Mass-produced solar powered cars may become a reality in the future, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon. The best place to put solar panels right now in on top of your roof, where the surface area is large enough to generate a useful amount of energy.

Edit: You're not the first to think of it; solar-powered cars do exist! You might see solar-powered cars in the news, but those are very expensive and are probably built for contests. They are specially designed to be aerodynamic for more efficiency. It is impossible to build one that will be practical for everyday use (as of now) because of the price and small surface area available..
