What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning system, cleaning clothes, enjoying TV, cooking supper. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are significant, lots of property owners discover that the convenience, unique features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically reduce or perhaps eliminate your electric costs

Whether you're a house owner, company, or not-for-profit, electricity expenses can comprise a big part of your regular monthly expenditures. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll create totally free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will lower your utility bills and you'll still save a great deal of loan.

#2 Earn a fantastic return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the best ways to invest, with returns matching those of more standard investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical power costs savings, the average American homeowner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard against rising energy costs

Among the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge energy prices. In the previous 10 years, domestic electrical energy costs have increased by approximately three percent every year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and safeguard against unforeseeable boosts in electrical power costs. If you're a business or house owner with changing money flow, going solar also assists you much better forecast and handle your expenditures.

#4 Boost your residential or commercial property value

Numerous research studies have found that houses geared up with solar energy systems have higher property worths and offer more quickly than non-solar houses. Appraisers are progressively taking solar installations into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, demand for homes geared up with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key element of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to create electricity from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from rate variations in worldwide energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar industry included jobs at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This growth is anticipated to continue. Since solar-related jobs have the tendency to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a significant factor to the United States economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a terrific method to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can substantially decrease that number. A typical domestic photovoltaic panel system will eliminate three to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Show your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and business social duty are very important parts of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, customers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding companies that opt to operate properly. Companies are finding that "green" qualifications are an effective driver of customer acquiring choices, creating goodwill and enhancing company results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power arrangements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous homeowners decide to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" financing options. This means that a third-party business-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and takes care of installation, upkeep, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The utility companies are well-known for their fluctuating and unreliable electrical power rates. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and easy math, we can calculate what does it cost? electrical power will be created, and most importantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next 20 years (repaired energy expenses).

What Is Solar Energy?
I Need To Know What Solar Energy Is And A Example Plz I Only Need 1 Small Parigragh

It's the light energy that comes from the sun. It's a renewable source of energy which means it cannot be vanished no matter how often we use it.This energy, in the form of heat and light, drives the climate and weather and supports all life on Earth. Sunlight along with solar resources such as wind and wave power, hydroelectricity and biomass account for over 99.9% of the available flow of renewable energy.

I hope that helps.

Solar Energy- Can You Help?
What Is Solar Energy? And What Are Two Main Ways Of Using Solar Energy To Produce Electricity. Thanks. =]

More energy from sunlight strikes the Earth in one hour than all of the fossil energy consumed on the planet in one year.

Photovoltaic conversion, the direct generation of electricity from sunlight, is a clean and inexhaustible source of electricity generation. Photovoltaics (or PV cells) are now commercially available, but the cost per watt is still much too high for wide-scale practical implementation, and challenges exist in scaling this technology to the terawatt ( One trillion watts) scale.

The conversion of sunlight into chemical fuels, an example of which is the splitting of water to make hydrogen. Although the electrolysis of water is straightforward, currently available methods require a power source and a platinum catalyst. By using solar energy to replace conventional electrical power sources that ultimately use fossil fuel, and by developing alternative catalysts to platinum (which is expensive and scarce),

What Is Solar Energy?
I Am Doing A Research Project So If You Could Please Answer This As Detailed As Posible That Would Be Great!!!! Thanks!!!

The sun has produced energy for billions of years. Solar energy is the solar radiation that reaches the earth.

Solar energy can be converted directly or indirectly into other forms of energy, such as heat and electricity. The major drawbacks (problems, or issues to overcome) of solar energy are: (1) the intermittent and variable manner in which it arrives at the earth's surface and, (2) the large area required to collect it at a useful rate.

Solar energy is used for heating water for domestic use, space heating of buildings, drying agricultural products, and generating electrical energy.

In the 1830s, the British astronomer John Herschel used a solar collector box to cook food during an expedition to Africa. Now, people are trying to use the sun's energy for lots of things.

Electric utilities are trying photovoltaics, a process by which solar energy is converted directly to electricity. Electricity can be produced directly from solar energy using photovoltaic devices or indirectly from steam generators using solar thermal collectors to heat a working fluid.

Out of the 14 known solar electric generating units operating in the US at the end of 2004, 10 of these are in California, and 4 in Arizona. No statistics are being collected on solar plants that produce less than 1 megawatt of electricity, so there may be smaller solar plants in a number of other states.

What Are Two Internal Sources Of Energy In The Earth And How Do They Affect The Crust?
Please Add Detail And Examples. Thank You!

"Sources of Energy

The Earth has two basic sources of energy - that reaching the Earth from the Sun (Solar Energy) and that reaching the surface of the Earth the Earth itself (Internal or Geothermal Energy).

Solar Energy - reaches the Earth in the form of radiant energy, and makes up 99.987% of the energy received by the Earth.

About 40% is immediately reflected back into space by the atmosphere and oceans.

Some is converted to heat and is absorbed by the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere, but even this eventually escapes into space.

Some is absorbed by plants during photosynthesis and is stored in plants, used by other organisms, or is stored in fossil fuels like coal and petroleum.

Solar Energy drives the water cycle, causing evaporation of the oceans and circulation of the atmosphere, which allows rain to fall on the land and run downhill. Thus solar energy is responsible for such natural disasters as severe weather, and floods.

Internal Energy - is generated within or because of the Earth. It only amounts to about 0.013% of the total energy reaching the Earth's surface, but is responsible for deformational events that build mountains and cause earthquakes, for melting in the Earth to create magmas that result in volcanism. Two source of internal energy are:

Radioactive Decay

Some elements like Uranium, Thorium, and Potassium have unstable isotopes that we say are radioactive.

When a radioactive isotope decays to a more stable isotope, subatomic particles like protons, neutrons, and electrons are expelled from the radioactive parent atom and are slowed and absorbed by surrounding matter.

The energy of motion (kinetic energy) of these particles is converted to heat by the collision of these particles with the surrounding matter.

Although radioactive isotopes like 235U (Uranium), 232U, 232Th (Thorium), and 40K (potassium) are not very abundant in the Earth, They are sufficiently plentiful that large amounts of heat are generated in the Earth.

Conversion of Gravitational Energy

Gravity is the force of attraction between two bodies.

The force of gravity acts between the Sun, Earth, and Moon to create tidal forces, which cause the Earth to bulge in the direction of the Moon. This bulging is kinetic energy, which is converted to heat in the Earth.

Gravity has other energy effects near the surface of the Earth. All objects at the Earth's surface are continually being pulled toward the center of the Earth by the force of gravity.

When an object moves closer to the center of the Earth by falling, slipping, sliding, or sinking, kinetic energy is released."

What Are Your Views On Solar Energy?
Just Doing A Controlled Assesment At School And Part Of The Qwuestion Is To Write About Peoples Opinions On It Please Help ??? Xoxoxoxo

Solar energy is on the face of it a very good way to get energy from a renewable source. However there is a down side, this is in the requirement for batteries to store this energy for later use, these batteries are not that efficient, nor are they that "green" to make.
To power small things, e.g mobile phones etc requires only a small solar panel, however if you wanted to run your home completely on solar energy you would require a large solar panel array and a lot of batteries, and inverter etc all this is at the moment quite expensive to set up.

Solar energy to heat water is a good solution, even if the weather is only warm enough to partially heat it it will reduce costs and the amount of other energy needed, hot water solar systems are easily fitted to most homes.

The total amount of power/heating you get from your solar system will of course depend on the amount of sunshine available, works well in areas where the sunshines, but in extreme northern and southern regions of course this is limited to the shorter winter days.

Saying all that solar energy is a good thing and one that hopefully will be developed future, already solar "power stations" are in use providing clean power, these look st to be expanded and technology will improve their efficiency.
