What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioner, washing clothing, viewing TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are considerable, lots of home owners discover that the benefit, unique functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more alluring.

Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically reduce or perhaps remove your electric expenses

Whether you're a homeowner, company, or nonprofit, electrical power costs can comprise a big part of your regular monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll produce totally free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will reduce your utility costs and you'll still conserve a lot of cash.

#2 Make an excellent return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't a cost-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns matching those of more standard financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy bill cost savings, the typical American house owner settles their solar panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against rising energy costs

Among the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, domestic electricity prices have actually gone up by approximately three percent each year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and protect versus unforeseeable boosts in electrical power costs. If you're a business or property owner with fluctuating capital, going solar likewise assists you better projection and manage your expenditures.

#4 Increase your home or business worth

Several studies have actually discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have greater property values and sell quicker than non-solar houses. Appraisers are significantly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more educated about solar, need for homes geared up with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial element of achieving energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to create electricity from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from rate changes in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry added jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This development is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related jobs tend to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a substantial contributor to the United States economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is an excellent way to lower your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A normal residential photovoltaic panel system will remove three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Demonstrate your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and business social responsibility are essential parts of an organization's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Significantly, consumers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding organisations that opt to operate properly. Businesses are finding that "green" credentials are a powerful driver of consumer buying choices, developing goodwill and improving business results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous house owners decide to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This indicates that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the planetary system and looks after installation, upkeep, tracking and repair works. You merely pay the solar company for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The utility companies are notorious for their fluctuating and unreliable electrical energy costs. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and simple math, we can determine what does it cost? electricity will be generated, and most significantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next 20 years (repaired energy costs).

Financing

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Are We About To See A Huge Growth In The Solar Energy Sector?

My thought is probably not in the near term, at least in the US. If we invest in renewables, we'll probably invest more in wind technology. The primary reason is that wind is further along in terms of development as a technology. The best measure of a technology's maturity and readiness for use is looking at it's cost per kilowatt hours. Right now, wind costs about 5 cents per kilowatt hours, so that's in line with how much it costs to generate electricity from petroleum based fuels. I think wind is also easier to understand. Make larger windmills, and put them in better places, will bring down costs even more.

Solar power is still much more expensive, too high for widespread adoption. To make things a little confusing, there are many more competing technologist in the solar energy generation space. One is the use of photovoltaic cells that convert solar energy to electricity. The other converting solar energy to physical (boiling water), to electrical energy (via steam power electrical generator). Both still being studied.

The important thing that will determine if solar is adopted in this country in the next few years is subsidization. On it's own merits, solar is still too expensive. The US has the land resources to support either wind or solar, unlike many other countries. If I were to guess, I'd say wind has bigger potential in the short run.

Can The Nuclear Material From Decommisioned Atomic Bombs Be Used In Nuclear Power Plants?
Researching Benefits Of Nuclear Power Vs Fossil Fuels

The answer is a yes...but.

It is called mixed-oxide or MOX technology and if only a small fraction of the fuel is replaced with plutonium, many reactor designs will work fine. A reactor that runs on nothing but MOX is a different matter, altogether, and needs to be designed that way.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOX_fuel

There are any number of concerns using Pu in reactors, though. First of all there is the proliferation risk and the cost to deal with that is enormous, both in terms of safety engineering, policing and politically. Most likely all of that would fall back in one way or another on the tax payer.

Secondly, natural Uranium is dirt cheap, literally and would become even cheaper if MOX was introduced on a large scale. Now, the people who mine Uranium wouldn't like that and it turns out that they have enormous political clout. They will probably always get enough politicians on their side, at least in the US, to suppress any attempts for fuel recycling.

But it is worse, still, because countries which reprocess like the UK, accumulate enormous amounts of Pu even without trying to make any more of it! It is simply a by-product of many nuclear fission reactor designs.

See

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plutonium

about Plutonium with a few sentences about MOX and the idea to "burn" this stuff.

I don't expect that the world will establish a proliferation safe MOX recycling culture anytime soon. By the time we are smart enough to do that (50+ years from now), solar energy will probably have made it unnecessary to operate reactors on a large scale. Or so I hope. The less Pu we have to deal with, the better. The more we can bury miles underground, the better for the world.

What Will Happen If You Run A Solar Panel Without Connecting It To Any Thing Will It Gey Damaged?

No, as long as the 2 wires coming off the solar panel are not connected to anything doesn't store energy. Depending on the area you live in the cells in the panel could be damaged but it would take years.
