What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to use the sun to power daily life: running your a/c unit, washing clothing, seeing TV, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are substantial, many residents discover that the benefit, special functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more alluring.

Leading Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly lower or even eliminate your electric bills

Whether you're a homeowner, company, or nonprofit, electrical power expenses can comprise a big portion of your regular monthly costs. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll generate totally free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will reduce your energy costs and you'll still save a great deal of loan.

#2 Earn a great return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't a cost-- they're one of the finest ways to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical energy bill cost savings, the typical American house owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against increasing energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, property electrical energy prices have actually gone up by an average of three percent annually. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical power rate and protect versus unforeseeable boosts in electrical power expenses. If you're an organisation or property owner with fluctuating capital, going solar likewise helps you much better forecast and handle your expenses.

#4 Increase your house worth

Several research studies have discovered that houses equipped with solar energy systems have higher residential or commercial property worths and offer more quickly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers end up being more informed about solar, need for residential or commercial properties geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial component of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from rate fluctuations in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This growth is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a great way to decrease your carbon footprint. Buildings are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A common residential solar panel system will get rid of three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees yearly.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are crucial elements of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Increasingly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding companies that decide to run properly. Services are discovering that "green" credentials are an effective chauffeur of customer buying choices, producing goodwill and improving service outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Many house owners decide to fund their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This means that a third-party company-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, upkeep, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar company for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are infamous for their fluctuating and undependable electrical power costs. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and easy math, we can compute what does it cost? electrical energy will be created, and most importantly, at exactly what cost, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (fixed energy costs).

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

If Solar And Wind Power Are So Efficient, Why Didn'T Doc Brown Attach Panels And A Windmill To The Delorean?

Because solar and wind power is a bunch of crap, and the reason USA economy is bad is because obama wants it that way, a way he uses to destroy this great nation.
Obama Supports Drilling; In Brazil!

Barack Obama lied about supporting drilling in the US. He was running for the job of President and he said he supported drilling. At the time gas prices were unstable, and the economy was tanking and a young lady named Sarah Palin was a VP candidate with more energy experience in her little finger than Obama has in his entire body and she was firing people up with her chant of “drill baby, drill”.

Obama won the election and we have not begun drilling. We have a moratorium on drilling and Obama is in favor of that. He does not want us to drill for our own oil and while gas prices skyrocket he sits idly by watching. He wants our prices to go up and he wants us to feel the pain so that he and his cronies can manufacture a crisis so they can push cap and trade and alternative energy. Those technologies have not been developed to a degree they can provide enough energy to meet our needs but Obama has friends he needs to make wealthier. He is beholden to GE…

The Bush energy policy was opposed by Democrats who claim that somehow Bush and Cheney manipulated the price of oil because they are oil men and this helped their buddies. It is pure hogwash because oil is a global commodity and its price is affected by what is going on in the world. However, Obama can affect the polices regarding alternative energy by keeping us from using our own oil (which forces us to pay the higher prices).

Simply allowing us to drill and retrieve OUR oil would provide Americans with tens of thousands of desperately needed jobs and would allow us to use our own resources instead of paying someone else for theirs. But that is Obama’s plan.

He wants us to spend our money to help other countries develop their oil and retrieve it and then he wants them to sell it to us.

“We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.” Investor’s

Yep, Obama is OK with the Brazilians drilling for their oil and he will even help them do so (with financial and technical aid) and then he will be overjoyed to buy that oil from them.

That Obama is one class act. I just want to know why he has no problem with the Brazilians drilling for their resources but refuses to allow us to do the same. Why? Either he is intent on shackling us to the whims of the market and the prices and production of oil producing countries or he has a real concern for our people. If the latter is the case then he must hold Brazilians in low regard. Are they not as important as humans as we are? No, I think he wants to cripple us to push his agenda.

So America, why is drilling good enough for the people of Brazil (and with the full support of Obama) but not for us?

He wants to destroy us and he is doing it little by little.

GE needs the “clean” energy business and Obama is working to give it to them…

Meanwhile, he is just giving us the business, like screwing America and trying to make us like it.

Now rejecting the Pipeline.

Alternative Energy ? First Thought Solar Panels. How Many Cheap, Handy And Flashy Forms Are There A.Energy?
Alternative Sounds Odd, Weirdy, Primitive..How About Running A Flashy Car On Cheap Spirit? And Having A Comfortable Home Heated Or Cooled Naturally By ??

hi Nischal, i'm interested in Alternative Energy. its not only Solar panels, it can also be wind generators, in India, Solar panels r being used to heat water, but not very efficiently, i'm keen on making small wind generators that will charge car batteries, n when there's no wind, the batteries will run small appliances like lights n fans, for starters.
about running cars on spirit, first, the process of making spirit should be easy n non-toxic. N second, You need an adequate n constant supply of it to be sure You don't get stuck when You r away from the spirit refill station.

let me know if You r interested in doin more research on Alternative n Free Energy, i do have a few sites.
All the best.

Solar To Heat The Water In Our House? Cost?
I'M Interested In Heating Our Water With Solar Energy. We Live In Virginia, And Have Direct Sun On Our Ranch Style Roof. How Much Would It Cost To Purchase The Technology And To Maintain Solar Panels Just To Heat Our Water? Thanks!

Can't answer directly, as ROI will depend on how you can situate the solar panels and how much freezing weather you get -- a simple system that will handle hot water in summer but has to be drained in winter is cheap and easy. The ones involving heat exchangers that can be used in freezing weather are more complex and expensive.

Please Help With My Solar Energy Installation?
I Have A Few Volkswagen Solar Panels, Those That They Use To Keep The Batteries Charged. I´M Planing To Use Them In Combination With A Car Battery And A Small Power Inverter With A Timer To Pump Water Only A Couple Of Minutes A Day To Water My Bonsais, I Have The Panels, The Battery, The Timer, The Power Inverter And The Pump, What Else Do I Need To Make It Work? A Friend Told Me That I Have To Prevent The Energy From Going Back Or Something To Shut Off The Timer When The Batteries Are Charging. Thanks!

That's a tricky question.

You are going to need one or more diodes connected between the PV panels and the battery, to prevent it from discharging through the panels when the lights are out.

A single car battery typically has a charging current of about 0.8-1 amp, and needs a charging bias of about 2.3-2.5 volts over the top of the battery's voltage. I assume that since the originally intended purpose of your PV panels is for charging car batteries, that they are sized correctly in terms of voltage and current output.

The diode(s) is another matter. Here are the specifications you are going to want. I have added here an approximate fudge factor.
forward voltage : ~0.8v
reverse breakdown voltage: 30v
leakage current: micro-amp range
forward current: 2 amps. If you can't find diodes this large(unlikely), you can just connect enough in parallel to get the current capacity you want.

Another problem, is the fact that the inverter will draw a small to moderate amount of current whenever it is switched on, even if the pump is not on. I am not sure how to solve this problem besides just physically turning the inverter off when it is not being used. This kind of defeats the purpose of having an automatic system though....

Mark's idea of using a 12v dc pump and ignoring the battery and inverter altogether, is a good one.

You might want to talk to a bona fide electrical engineer in RL, and ask him what his opinion is. Electrical engineering is not my specialty......

Good luck with your project

Solar Panels And Fumigation?
I Live In San Diego, Near The Coast. It'S Regular To Get Your House Fumigated Every 10 Years, Recommended. But Are Solar Panels Okay With That?

Hey Spk, Ravi has some good points about tenting, but to answer your question directly, solar panels should not have any problem with tenting. They are made primarily of aluminium, acrylic and silicone, pretty inert rom a chemical standpoint. If tenting doesn't do damage to motherboards on computers and other electronics, then it won't bother the panels. Just make sure when the tenting is done that the panels are clear of debris, and appear clean.

Our home has been solar powered for over 10 years now, I've never had to clean them for any reason, except to brush snow off them in the winter once in a while. Like Ravi, my concerns about tenting are more environmental than electronic based. Good luck Spk, and take care, Rudydoo
