What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your ac system, cleaning clothing, seeing TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a stress on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are considerable, numerous residents discover that the benefit, unique functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are even more alluring.

Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically lower or even eliminate your electric costs

Whether you're a house owner, service, or nonprofit, electricity expenses can comprise a large portion of your month-to-month costs. With a solar panel system, you'll generate totally free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will decrease your energy expenses and you'll still conserve a great deal of loan.

#2 Earn a fantastic return on your investment

Solar panels aren't an expense-- they are among the very best methods to invest, with returns matching those of more standard financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electricity expense cost savings, the average American homeowner settles their solar panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge energy prices. In the previous 10 years, property electrical energy costs have gone up by an average of 3 percent annually. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical power rate and secure versus unforeseeable boosts in electrical energy expenses. If you're a service or house owner with changing money flow, going solar likewise helps you better forecast and manage your expenditures.

#4 Increase your home or business value

Numerous studies have found that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and sell more rapidly than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more educated about solar, need for properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key part of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to create electrical energy from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from rate changes in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market included jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This growth is expected to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a substantial factor to the United States economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is an excellent way to lower your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can significantly reduce that number. A normal residential solar panel system will remove 3 to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees yearly.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and business social obligation are very important components of a company's culture and worths. They likewise produce bottom line results. Progressively, customers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding businesses that decide to run responsibly. Services are finding that "green" credentials are an effective chauffeur of customer getting choices, producing goodwill and enhancing business outcomes.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power arrangements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Many homeowners decide to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This indicates that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar company for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are well-known for their varying and unreliable electrical energy rates. There is plainly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and simple math, we can calculate how much electrical power will be produced, and most notably, at what cost, for at least the next Twenty Years (repaired energy expenses).

Oil Money: Obama Vs. Mccain?
Obama And The Dems New Video Attacks Mccain As Being "Exxon John" (Search For Yourself), Indicating That Mccain Is In The Pocket Of Exxon. Reality Is A Bit Different. We All Know That In 2005 Obama Voted For That Cheney Energy Bill That Extended The Subsidies To Big Oil. Mccain Voted Against It, Specifically Because Of That. Up Through June, Obama Received More Money From Exxon Contributers Than Mccain Has. He Has Received More From Bp And Chevron Too For That Matter. Granted, Mccain Gets More Money Overall From Oil And Gas Company Contributions, That Is To Be Expected When He Wants To Drill And Obama Wants To Tax Them To Death. How Is It That Obama Can Get Away With Attacking Mccain For Being In The Pocket Of Exxon, When He Has Received More Contributions From Them? What Do You Think? Http://Www.Opensecrets.Org/News/2008/08/Oil-Industry-Leans-Toward-Mcca.Html

they both support big oil, i support mccain here because he recognizes that supporting the company that fuels our nation is not necessarily an evil. right now there is no replacement for oil, we could try to use ethonal, but that would starve world and many think it takes more energy to create than it releases when used. I think we just have to wait till we create an efficient environmentally friendly battery, then use nuclear energy to supply homes with energy to recharge battery.

Why Dont They Build A Solar Plant With Magnifing Glasses On Giant Poles Pionting Down At The The Pole.?
With Special Mirrors To Bend All Magnefied Sunlight Onto Required Spot.

They use mirrors instead of magnifying glasses but there are solar power plants where the concentrated heat of the sun is used to produce energy through a turbine:

How Many Cell Phones Can I Charge Off Of A Marine Battery?
On Scout Trips, We Have Several Parents With Cell Phones. If We Connect A Power Inverter To A Marine Battery, And Charge 10 Phones One Time Per Day, How Many Days Will The Battery Last Before It Needs A Charge? Assume The Battery Has 55-60 Amp Hours And Is A Brand New Deep Cycle Marine Type, And There Is A Variety Of Phone Brands So Average Phone Charging Energy Requirement. If You Know Of A Formula To Use, Simple Formula For A Simple Guy..., I Could Try To Adjust The Estimate For 15 Phones Charged Once Per Day. Once I Know This Thing Will Get Us Through A Day Or 2 (Or More), I Could Then Figure Out How Large Of A Solar Panel And Solar Charge Controller Would Be Required To Keep This &Quot;Charging Station&Quot; Going For A Full Week Of Summer Camp. Please Site The Basis For Your Formula So I Know It'S Not A Wild Guess, I Can Do That On My Own Thank You, And Understand That It Will Be Used As A &Quot;Ballpark&Quot; Figure. It Will Be Put To Use For A Good Cause If We Can Make It Work Within Our Budget.

My camera has a 1200 mA-hour battery. My cell phone, 900 mA-hour. My PC 5000 amp-hour. An iphone 1400 mA-hour. At about 10 volts

Take 1000 mA-hour or 1 amp-hour as average, x15 = 15 amp-hour. At about 10 volts that is 150 watt-hour

Figure 50% losses for the inverters and chargers, and the charge/recharge cycle. That means you need 300 watt-hours from the battery.

A 60 amp-hour battery x 12 volts is 700 watt-hours.
It looks like you have 700/300 = 2 days just from the battery. But this assumes all the phones are totally dead, and they won't be, unless everyone is using them pretty heavily.

But that number is not important, unless you can have 2 days with no sun. In that case you would be dead out. As to the size of the solar panel, it can be small. Using the above numbers, you would need 150 watt-hours per day, and if you get 8 hours of sun, that is about 20 watts worth of solar panels.

Way To Stop Using Fossil Fuels Completely?
So I'M Asking Is There Alternative Energy Source Plus Other Stuff For Production To Completely Stop Using Fossil Fuel. Literally, So Stopping Fossil Fuel And Fully Support Amount Of Energy Produced By Fossil Fuels And Producing Other Stuff.

The only ways require a sustainable and adjustable source of energy. These are 1) Hydroelectric 2) Nuclear 3) Geothermal.

Wind and Solar can only deliver about 30% of their capacity to meet actual demand, with the rest being basically wasted or given away at very high cost to consumers who pay the Transmission costs.

Unfortunately those other sources will probably top out at 15% -25% in total because of their various problems.

In short, fossil fuels would still be required to meet 45-50% of total energy demand for the next century or so. The cost of doing that will bankrupt the global economy since alternatives are about 20 times more expensive than Natural Gas and about 3.7X more costly than oil. People who say otherwise generally don't include anything but very direct costs for generation and when you include loss of tax revenue the number become substantially worse than what I mentioned!

EDIT:
One thing that I forgot to mention with respect to cost of alternatives such as wind and solar is that the biggest component of their cost will be the hidden Transmission costs. As these costs become obviously excessive, more and more consumers such as heavy industry will start to self generate energy by solar and natural gas generators. This will drive up the costs significantly for Transmission since only a few consumers would be left to pay for that Transmission. I estimate status quo costs at about 13 cents for the average residential consumer, but those costs could reach 26 cents or 39 cents pretty easily which would result in costs of about 39 cents to 42 cents per Kilowatt Hour of electricity vs the current 8.5 cents to 11 cents per Kilowatt Hour that is the current case.

If "green " technologies proceed as a mass move, the cost of Energy will skyrocket in all conceivable ways and there will be a major global recession. Don't forget that you still must have a 45-50% supply of fossil fuels to meet demand so costs are largely redundant!

Why Is The Shape Of A Solar Collector To Heat Water Important?
What Shapes Are Best For Solar Collector To Heat Water And Why Is The Shape Important??

Using a solar collector to heat water needs to be parabolic / curved in order to focus the heat on your water pipe (or whatever your whatever you water is being contained in). Just putting your pipe (as is used in a solar reflectivity plant) in front of a flat mirror would do essentially nothing. Focusing the Sun's rays (sort of like a magnifying glass) greatly increases the amount of thermal energy ("heat") that you're putting into that water. Put in that pipe, and properly shape the reflector, and you'll make a solar reflectivity plant useful enough to actually... use.
