What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to use the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning system, washing clothing, enjoying TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are significant, lots of homeowners find that the benefit, special functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly lower or even eliminate your electric costs

Whether you're a property owner, organization, or nonprofit, electrical energy costs can make up a large portion of your regular monthly expenditures. With a solar panel system, you'll create totally free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will decrease your utility costs and you'll still save a great deal of cash.

#2 Earn a great return on your investment

Solar panels aren't an expense-- they're one of the very best ways to invest, with returns equaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electricity expense savings, the average American house owner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure versus increasing energy costs

Among the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, residential electrical power rates have increased by approximately three percent each year. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can fix your electricity rate and safeguard versus unforeseeable increases in electrical energy expenses. If you're an organisation or property owner with changing money flow, going solar also assists you much better projection and manage your costs.

#4 Increase your property worth

Multiple research studies have discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and offer faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers end up being more educated about solar, need for properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key component of attaining energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost variations in international energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and assist your local economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the country. This development is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related tasks have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant contributor to the United States economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is an excellent method to decrease your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A normal property photovoltaic panel system will remove 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social duty are necessary elements of an organization's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding services that opt to run properly. Services are discovering that "green" qualifications are an effective chauffeur of consumer acquiring decisions, developing goodwill and enhancing business outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Many homeowners select to fund their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the solar system and looks after installation, maintenance, tracking and repairs. You merely pay the solar company for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are well-known for their varying and undependable electricity costs. There is clearly an upward trend.

With solar panels and simple math, we can determine how much electricity will be generated, and most importantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (fixed energy costs).

  • System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
  • Receive 30% federal tax credit
  • See a return on investment within 7-10 years

What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?

We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

2. What Are The Pros And Cons, Of Using Solar Energy For Our Homes?
,,,,,,,,And Would You Consider Installing Solar Energy Components In Your House?

I would address your question by saying that yes, I would certainly install it if I owned a home that I intended to stay in for at least 10 years. I think it takes a while before you make the money back on the installation investment. I wish I had it... maybe my next house!

Solar Energy Advantages
Saves you money
After the initial investment has been recovered, the energy from the sun is practically FREE.
The recovery/ payback period for this investment can be very short depending on how much electricity your household uses.
Financial incentives are available form the government that will reduce your cost. (visit to find out about incentives available in the state you live in!).
If your system produces more energy than you use, your utility company can buy it from you, building up a credit on your account! This nifty little scheme is called "net-metering".

It will save you money on your electricity bill if you have one at all.
Solar energy does not require any fuel.
It's not affected by the supply and demand of fuel and is therefore not subjected to the ever-increasing price of gasoline.
The savings are immediate and for many years to come.
The use of solar energy indirectly reduces health costs.
Environmentally friendly
Solar Energy is clean, renewable (unlike gas, oil and coal) and sustainable, helping to protect our environment.
It does not pollute our air by releasing carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide or mercury into the atmosphere like many traditional forms of electrical generation does.
Therefore Solar Energy does not contribute to global warming, acid rain or smog.
It actively contributes to the decrease of harmful green house gas emissions.
It's generated where it is needed.
By not using any fuel, Solar Energy does not contribute to the cost and problems of the recovery and transportation of fuel or the storage of radioactive waste.
Independent/ semi-independent
Solar Energy can be utilized to offset utility-supplied energy consumption. It does not only reduce your electricity bill, but will also continue to supply your home/ business with electricity in the event of a power outage.
A Solar Energy system can operate entirely independently, not requiring a connection to a power or gas grid at all. Systems can therefore be installed in remote locations (like holiday log cabins), making it more practical and cost-effective than the supply of utility electricity to a new site.
The use of Solar Energy reduces our dependence on foreign and/or centralized sources of energy, influenced by natural disasters or international events and so contributes to a sustainable future.
Solar Energy supports local job and wealth creation, fuelling local economies.
Low/ no maintenance

Solar Energy systems are virtually maintenance free and will last for decades.
Once installed, there are no recurring costs.
They operate silently, have no moving parts, do not release offensive smells and do not require you to add any fuel.
More solar panels can easily be added in the future when your family's needs grow.

More about Solar energy advantages disadvantages

Solar Energy Disadvantages

The initial cost is the main disadvantage of installing a solar energy system, largely because of the high cost of the semi-conducting materials used in building one.
The cost of solar energy is also high compared to non-renewable utility-supplied electricity. As energy shortages are becoming more common, solar energy is becoming more price-competitive.
Solar panels require quite a large area for installation to achieve a good level of efficiency.

The efficiency of the system also relies on the location of the sun, although this problem can be overcome with the installation of certain components.
The production of solar energy is influenced by the presence of clouds or pollution in the air.
Similarly, no solar energy will be produced during nighttime although a battery backup system and/or net metering will solve this problem. See for details on how net metering allows you to save electricity and money.
As far as solar powered cars go - their slower speed might not appeal to everyone caught up in today's rat race.

As you can see there are many Solar Energy Advantages
Disadvantages can be found in any product or system, but it
is important to know that they can be managed in this case.

What Is Obama Against And What Is He For? What Is Mccain Against And What Is He For?
Just Main Points, The Differences Between Them. I Want A Better Understading Of Them Both. Who Are You Voting For?

I for one am glad you asked this question Although you can't vote yet it is good that you are interested in the government it will be you civic duty to participate in. I will try not to slant my answer too much. As for what the major candidates are for or against you can usually get a decent idea by knowing what the party platform (what they present as an agenda for the current election) usually states and their stand on current issues. Our interest then would be what each party stands for.

Democrats are normally in favor of more programs that are socialistic in nature. You'll have to look up socialism to understand that. Examples are universal health care, welfare, affirmative action and generally more programs that cost the tax payers money and in short a bigger government or more government employees with lifetime careers with high salaries and benefits. They usually don't favor stronger defense expenditures.

Republicans are normally thought of as conservatives. They don't favor big government or big spending and usually believe the preamble to the constitution states the entire purpose of the federal government and that promoting the general welfare applies to things like building municipal dams etc. They favor a strong defense and lowering taxes to have a less inhibited economy.

The two major party candidates in this election as it is today are not so far apart but there are differences. On energy Obama wants to get us off oil and use alternative energy sources like ethanol, hydrogen, wind, and solar power. McCain wants to get us off foreign oil and eventually most oil but would also use nuclear power plants, and a technology called clean coal in addition to those Obama favors. Alternative energy will be great but is not available yet. We have to get it to market yet. In the mean time we have to have something to get affordable energy. McCain in a change of position wants to use offshore drilling for domestic oil in an attempt to obtain lower cost at the gas pump and reduce or eliminate our dependence on imported oil.

Obama is in favor of raising nearly everybody's taxes in one form or another although people think he is only raising them for rich people. That would only be part of his plan. McCain is for keeping taxes about where they are and lowering the national debt by reducing pork spending (ear marked money congress people like to bring home for pet local projects which is normally hidden in important bills that are needed ), and reducing the budgets of some federally funded programs.

Basically democrats see what they believe while republicans believe what they see.

Solar Energy?
How Much Human Energy Is Need To Produced Solar Energy? How Much Engery Will Solar Power Produced? How Much Do We Save From Changing To Solar Power? What Are Some Benefit In Changing To Solar Power? How To Install The Panel? Can Solar Energy Provide Enough Energy For A Whole School With The Enrollment Of 650 Kids? Is Solar Energy Reliable? How Much Will It Cost To Install The Panels? Do We Need To Have Certified People Install Or Check The Panel? Does It Have Any Negative Affect? What Happen If The Solar Panel Fails? Do We Get Reimbursed From The Energy Provider If We Don'T Use The Energy?

Depends where you live, if your annual sunshine hours are high then you will save more than if you live at a latitude with less sunshine hours. Solar energy will not provide enough energy for a school, you would need a combination of both regular energy delivery to back up the solar power. I would use certified people, and for legal purposes it would most likely be required on school property. I hope your school decides to go for it because the long term benefits to the planet really do outweigh the big start up cost!

Solar Panelss For Pools How Does It Work ?
I Would Like To Know How Does It Work .

Much depends on the area you live in, and your exposure to sun.
Basically you have flat panels that come rolled up in two foot sections for instillation…. but actually they clip together to provide a four foot section x 7or 8 feet when unrolled. How many sections you have depends upon roof space and pool size. I have installed them at ground level also with a custom built deck to lay them on, but normally they go on the roof.

Instillation basics are very simple:
Install them at a slight angle for draining, strap them down, pipe them in-line to the return line, with a manual or thermostatically, controlled valve. I suggest the thermostatically controlled valve, which senses roof temperature and water differential temperature.

This can all be done by a DIY person….. it’s not to complicated, and does make a large difference in the heating cost.

If you live in an area that freezes you need to take the proper precautions …..they will spring leaks if they freeze.

If you have a Spanish tile roof (common in the S/W) you may want to consider another type of solar; but these do work on all other roofs, including flat

Is Solar Energy Practicable?
According To Wikipedia, It Takes More Energy To Create A Solar Panel Than That Panel Will Create In Its Lifetime. Is This True? I Can'T Think Of Any Other Reason Why Every Rooftop In My Home Of The American Southwest Wouldn'T Be Covered With Solar Panels.

There are essentially three methods of employing solar energy.

1. The central station where solar energy is used to generate steam which runs a turbine to produce electricity.
This system, obviously, runs only in the daytime when the sky is not overcast. Given the energy density of sunlight at ground level, the efficiency of the mirrors (which must be kept clean and rotating to match the sun's movement), and the efficiency of the thermal cycle, land requirement for a system to provide electricity for a town of one family houses (in other words, low density housing) is about six times the land area of that town. Six out of every seven acres of the town would be devoted to the solar system.

2. Solar heating of water.
This is used all over Israel and works very well. Water is allowed to naturally circulate between a tank on the roof and a series of copper tubes, also on the roof. The sun heats the copper tubes which heat the water which flows back to the top of the tank, allowing cooler water at its bottom to be reheated. As long as you keep the copper tubes relatively clean, you have enough warm water in the morning for some showers and hot water later for the laundry.

3. Conversion of sunlight to electricity.
These units have a few interesting drawbacks at the moment. To begin with, they are expensive to build. Secondly, going back to the low energy density of sunlight at roof level, it would be doubtful if you could ever generate enough electricity to power your house. The covers on the units must be kept very clean for sunlight to get through. That means regular trips onto the roof with all the dangers involved. When the units eventually fail, they must be disposed of. That sounds easy until you realize that the conversion units all use rare earth doping of the selenium wafers. The most commonly used rare earth is arsenic. Yes, it is a poison and it has no half-life which would allow decay. Where would you like me to put my (hypothetical) load of arsenic?

With all that said, I sincerely hope that efficiencies improve enough that solar energy can be used to take a decent bite out of the energy production that comes from fossil fuels.
