Whether you're a house owner, service, or nonprofit, electricity costs can comprise a big portion of your month-to-month expenditures. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll produce complimentary power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will reduce your energy bills and you'll still conserve a great deal of money.
#2 Make an excellent return on your investment
Photovoltaic panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the finest ways to invest, with returns equaling those of more traditional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical power costs savings, the typical American house owner pays off their solar panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.
#3 Secure against increasing energy expenses
One of the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the previous ten years, residential electrical energy prices have actually increased by approximately three percent every year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and secure versus unforeseeable increases in electrical power costs. If you're a business or property owner with ever-changing cash flow, going solar also assists you much better forecast and handle your costs.
#4 Increase your home value
Multiple research studies have found that homes geared up with solar energy systems have higher property values and offer more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, need for residential or commercial properties geared up with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.
#5 Increase U.S. energy independence
The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key component of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from price variations in international energy markets.
#6 Develop jobs and help your local economy
According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added jobs at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This growth is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a considerable factor to the U.S. economy.
#7 Safeguard the environment
Solar is a terrific method to minimize your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A common domestic solar panel system will remove 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.
#8 Demonstrate your dedication to sustainability
Sustainability and corporate social obligation are necessary components of an organization's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Significantly, consumers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding businesses that opt to operate properly. Organisations are discovering that "green" credentials are an effective driver of consumer getting choices, developing goodwill and enhancing company results.
#9 Start Conserving from Day 1
Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no money down.
Numerous homeowners opt to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You simply pay the solar company for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility business.
Since June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.
#10. Solar is a Secure Investment
The energy business are notorious for their fluctuating and undependable electrical energy rates. There is plainly an upward trend.
With photovoltaic panels and easy mathematics, we can calculate just how much electrical power will be generated, and most importantly, at what rate, for at least the next Twenty Years (repaired energy costs).
What are the various payment options?
We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.
- Low, fixed payments each month
- System insurance for 20 years, including maintenance
- Flexible end-of-term options, including system upgrade, lease extension, and free panel removal
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
- We own the solar panel system
- $0 down for installation
- Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use
- Customer pays for the system upfront and owns the system
- System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
- Receive 30% federal tax credit
- See a return on investment within 7-10 years
What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?
We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.
What is the warranty?
The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is The Solar Energy Flux From A Distance Of 10 Pc From The Sun?
We can also define an absolute magnitude (M), which is defined as the magnitude a star would have if it were at a distance of 10 pc. With this definition, we can, for example, compare the intrinsic brightness of two stars. From the magnitude equation, above, we can compare the magnitude m2 of a star at a distance d, with its magnitude m1 at a distance of 10 pc, by:
m2 - m1= 2.5 log f1/ f2 = 2.5 log (d / 10 pc)2 = 5.0 log (d / 10 pc)
but since by definition M = m1, we can set m2= m to get:
m - M = 5 log (d / 10 pc)
The quantity m - M is called the distance modulus. The larger the distance modulus, the farther the star is away from us.
Why Is New Energy Required In The Future?
there are two types of energy renewable and nonrenewable.nonrewable energy sources are basically fossil fuel formed from pressure and high temperature of earth millions of years ago by the dead plants and animals.cannot be recyled in a human life time ,so we need alternate energy resource called renewable such as wind,oceanthermal,solar,geothermal,elect... etc.and by the way sun is the ultimate source of energy directly or indirectly.
Why Is Nuclear Power Supposedly More Reliable And Clean Than Other Resources?
Why Is It Clean?
Why Is Reliable?
How Can Nuclear Waste Be Disposed Of?
Is It The Best Choice Of Energy?
Thank You For You Help!
Why is it clean? Virtually no air pollution, tiny amount of nuclear waste produced in relation to how much electricity can be generated and compared with how much CO2 fossil fuel power stations produce
Why is reliable? Because it's not like wind or solar where how much electricity is generated depends on the weather conditions, and nuclear fuels aren't going to run out as soon as fossil fuels.
How can nuclear waste be disposed of? Put in a thick lead or concrete lined container and buried.
Is it the best choice of energy? That's a matter which being debated a lot these days, and it's all a matter of opinion.
How Does Solar Radiation Affect Climate?
Without getting too technical…
Solar radiation is the heat energy that is emitted from the Sun and radiated out to all parts of the solar system. Some of that energy reaches us here on Earth, it’s what we feel as the warmth of the Sun. The heat is absorbed by the Earth and everything upon it, as the ambient temperature falls (at night for example), the heat that has been absorbed is re-radiated back outward toward space.
Because the heat energy originates from a very hot and energetic source, the wavelength of that radiated energy is very short. However, when it is retransmitted from the Earth it is coming from a much cooler source, has less energy and has a longer wavelength. This type of radiation we call Thermal Radiation.
The wavelength of thermal radiation corresponds to the vibrational frequencies of the greenhouse gas molecules within the atmosphere, this allows for the absorption of some of that heat by the greenhouse gases.
In turn the greenhouse gas molecules re-emit the heat, some of this goes off into space but some of it returns back down to Earth, it’s this downward transmission of heat that we refer to as the Greenhouse Effect. And the more greenhouse gases there are in the atmosphere the more heat will be retained.
With the retention of more / less heat within the atmosphere we get changes within the global weather patterns, this is because heat is the primary driver of weather and climate – it causes the winds, rains, snow etc.
