What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for property owner to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c, cleaning clothes, viewing TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are substantial, many residents discover that the benefit, unique features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more enticing.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically decrease or perhaps remove your electrical costs

Whether you're a homeowner, organization, or not-for-profit, electricity expenses can comprise a large part of your month-to-month expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you take in, solar will minimize your energy bills and you'll still save a lot of loan.

#2 Make a fantastic return on your investment

Solar panels aren't an expense-- they are among the very best methods to invest, with returns equaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electricity bill cost savings, the average American property owner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect versus increasing energy costs

One of the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge utility rates. In the previous ten years, residential electricity rates have actually gone up by approximately three percent yearly. By buying a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and secure versus unforeseeable boosts in electrical power expenses. If you're a business or homeowner with fluctuating capital, going solar likewise helps you much better forecast and manage your expenses.

#4 Increase your home worth

Numerous research studies have found that houses geared up with solar energy systems have greater home values and sell more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers end up being more educated about solar, need for residential or commercial properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and an essential element of accomplishing energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to generate electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from price changes in international energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and assist your regional economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market added tasks at a rate almost 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This development is anticipated to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related jobs have the tendency to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a substantial factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a fantastic way to minimize your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A common residential solar panel system will get rid of 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees yearly.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and business social obligation are very important components of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Significantly, consumers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding organisations that opt to run responsibly. Companies are finding that "green" credentials are a powerful chauffeur of customer purchasing decisions, creating goodwill and improving service results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Lots of house owners pick to finance their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" financing alternatives. This indicates that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the solar system and takes care of installation, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar provider for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The utility business are well-known for their fluctuating and unreliable electricity rates. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and simple math, we can determine just how much electricity will be generated, and most significantly, at exactly what price, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (repaired energy expenses).

Financing

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

The Lease

We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

Solar Heating To Make Hot Water?
I Am Making A Solar Heating Experiment Which Colours And Materials Would Work Best To Keep The Water As Hot As Possible? Why?

Your question seems to ask not what colors work best but why they work best.

The more sunlight a color absorbs the better and the more is reflected the less efficient the heater is.

So black and dark colors should work best and white and light colors should do poorly.

Having reflectors to concentrate the heat energy at the point of heating is also a consideration. Captive air (or a vacuum) around the heated material also helps hold the heat once it is captured.

The diference between plastic pipe or metal pipe is not a big factor in the efficiency of a solar heater. The conductivity of the pipe is a small consideration in the over all heat transfer. Maybe that should be one of the experiements you should do as a part of your project. Determine the difference between the two materials.

How Much Would It Cost To Use Solar Energy If I Use 790 Kwh Usage In My Home From Electrical Energy?
Please Help!!!

You really should be asking a solar company but I think I can give you an approximation. 'Labor' will be the big unknown in my calculation.

790kWh in (say) 30 days is an average of 26.3 kWh. The notion of using an average implies that you're storing the energy into batteries for use at night, handling peak loads, cloudy days etc. The solar industry at my latitude of 38 degrees calculates solar energy accumulation for a single day as being the equivalent of 4.3 hours of direct sunlight. So you'd need panels producing 6.12 kW _if_ everything were 100% efficient downstream (like the batteries and inverter). So let's add a fudge factor to account for storing and retrieving energy from batteries. Multiply by 1.2 to get 7.3 kW. (I'm guessing at the fudge factor here).

Panels sold on Ebay seem to go for $3 / watt so you've got $22000 (7300 x $3) in panels. 20 kWh of deep cycle lead acid batteries cost me about $2500 (for an electric truck). And you need an "inverter", labor to mount the panels etc. I've almost certainly oversimplified here and there.

The good news, in Calif at least, is that a local solar company wrote to say that total rebates and tax breaks amount to 45% of the system cost. Beware, however, that their system cost doesn't overlook labor etc.

Consider doing an energy 'audit' of your home where you identify the essential electrical appliances (eg. refrigerator). You could scale the solar panels to handle these essentials. If the main grid goes down, you've at least got your house 'covered' in some minimal sense.

I'm doing an energy audit of my house right now and have found some supposedly 'off' gadgets are quite power hungry. I bought a killawatt power meter off Ebay for $14 to make the measurements.

Globals Warming Theorists Says When Its Warm Or Hot Its Caused By Global Warming?
Sounds To Me Like You People Are Talking Out Of Both Sides Of Your Mouths. Some Recent Data Showed That Some Of The Global Warming Gurus Actually Skewed The Reports And What Has Happened To Them?

I'll answer this correctly without a real long answer:

"Global Warming" is a physics certainty. The only problem is Al Gore used it to scare people in accordance with his political agenda, which is what brought this subject to the majority of the public. It isn't a tenth as bad as the hippies make it out to be. Are we warming the globe? Yes, that's unarguable. However, we're not going to be melting the major ice caps by 2050 as the liberal scientists suggest. The "intensity" of global warming, meaning 'we were in dire straits', was simply used to scare the people into voting one way and investing in companies providing alternative energy. These politicians and scientists has investments in these companies as well, so it came down to money at the end of the day. And I don't deny alternative energy is a must, but it's simply too inefficient at this point (output versus cost to produce).

As far as the major climate changes (i.e. the Mayan calendar ending Dec. 21, 2012 suggests a major climate shift, based on the three previous major climate shifts they correctly predicted), the Earth has always gone through extreme weather patterns. Ice ages, deadly droughts, etc.

Some might look at the recent events in California and the Northwest and Australia and Brazil and have probably heard countless people blame global warming. This couldn't be farther from the truth. The Earth is simply currently experiencing a La Nina and it's also due to the North Atlantic Oscillation.

Okay, turned out to be a long answer, I just have a lot of facts about a lot of topics. Thank you to those who read it all. But in conclusion, yes, we need to tame how much CO2 we're putting into the atmosphere. It won't affect us in our lifetime, but with many huge countries just entering their industrial revolution of sorts, it will increase by a factor of at least 5.

What Energy Transformations Take Place In Playing A Trumpet?
Are There Any Energy Transformations That Take Place When Someone Is Playing A Trumpet? Thanks For Your Help.

Solar energy stored in foods is converted into electrical energy in the body that energizes muscles. The diaphram muscle allows air to be expelled, and the energy of moving air is converted into sound energy vibrating air molecules. Sound energy is converted to mechanical energy by the eardrum, and that mechanical energy is converted to electrical signals interpreted by the brain as trumpet notes.

What Type Of Energy?????
What Type Of Energy Is This? Water Stored Behind A Dam. If You Can Give Explaination. (:(: Thanks. A. Chemical B. Solar C. Kinetic D. Potential

it is potential energy. It is not chemical because no rxn is taking place nor is it solar because well photon rxn or electron orbital jump is taking place. it is not kinetic because kinetic energy is the energy of motion. potential energy is the energy of location. it is like a rock on top of a high cliff the rock is not moving but because of how high it is it has a lot of potential energy it the rock fell that potential energy would be converted to kinetic energy
