What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c, cleaning clothing, enjoying TV, cooking dinner. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are significant, numerous residents discover that the benefit, special features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically lower or even remove your electric expenses

Whether you're a property owner, organization, or nonprofit, electrical power costs can make up a large part of your month-to-month expenses. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll produce free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you take in, solar will minimize your energy bills and you'll still conserve a lot of money.

#2 Earn an excellent return on your financial investment

Solar panels aren't an expense-- they are among the finest methods to invest, with returns matching those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical energy costs savings, the typical American house owner settles their solar panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus increasing energy expenses

One of the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge energy rates. In the past 10 years, residential electricity rates have increased by an average of three percent annually. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical power rate and safeguard against unpredictable boosts in electrical energy costs. If you're a business or property owner with changing capital, going solar likewise helps you much better projection and handle your expenditures.

#4 Boost your home or business value

Multiple research studies have discovered that houses equipped with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and sell quicker than non-solar houses. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers end up being more educated about solar, need for properties geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key component of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to create electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our country from rate fluctuations in worldwide energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This development is expected to continue. Because solar-related jobs have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a terrific way to reduce your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A normal domestic photovoltaic panel system will remove 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social duty are necessary elements of a company's culture and values. They likewise produce bottom line outcomes. Increasingly, customers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding services that select to run properly. Companies are finding that "green" credentials are an effective motorist of customer acquiring decisions, developing goodwill and enhancing service outcomes.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Numerous house owners decide to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" financing choices. This means that a third-party company-- the solar company-- owns the planetary system and looks after setup, upkeep, tracking and repair works. You just pay the solar service provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The utility business are well-known for their varying and undependable electricity costs. There is plainly an upward trend.

With solar panels and easy math, we can determine how much electricity will be produced, and most significantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (fixed energy costs).

Frequently Asked Questions

What Size Solar Panel Should I Expect To Buy To Keep A Deep Cycle Battery Charged.?
My Plan Is A Remote Garden. I Want To Have A Solar Panel Hooked Up To A Couple Deep Cycle Batteries, Then To And Inverter, Then To A Timer, Then To A Water Pump/ Webcam. The Concept Would Be To Plant A Garden On Land I Own, And Have The Water Pump Turn On Once A Day For A Half Hour Or So To Pump Well Water To The Garden. And Possibly Expanded Into A Weather Station With A Basic Pc And Weather Monitoring Sensors. What Sized Solar Panel Should I Buy To Maintain A Charge In The Battery? And Does This Project Sound Feasible To Anyone Else?

I think you need to tell us more information. But I'll make some guesses.

Note that you will need a charge controller between the solar array and the batteries.

Find the amount of power the pump uses, and number of hours per day, and that will get you the amount of energy. The pump may be, eg, 200 watts, and used 1 hour per day, so that is 200 watt-hours per day.

How many days without sun are you allowing? Too many and the batteries have to be very large.

Assume one day without sun. Then you need 400 watt-hours of storage, 2 days. That is one medium sized lead acid battery, a large one is about 1000 watt-hours. I'd get the large one for future expansion, and also losses in the system.

So you want to charge 1000 watt-hours of battery in how many hours of sun? assume you get 8 hours of sun a day. So the solar array has to deliver 1000 watt-hrs in 8 hours, or 125 watts. Not too large.

You need a 200 watt inverter. I'd get one a bit larger, it doesn't cost much more.

You can adjust the numbers... email me if you need more info.

Which Solar Panel Is Better?
Which One Is Better? And What Should I Look At When I Buy A Solar Panel? Http://Www.Ebay.Com/Itm/Solar-Panel-Charger-F-Ipod-Iphone-Phone-Pda-Psp-Mp3-466-/230768395287?Pt=Other_Mp3_Player_Accessories&Hash=Item35bade4417 Or Http://Www.Ebay.Com/Itm/Emergency-2600Mah-Solar-Panel-Usb-Battery-Charger-Cellphone-Rechargeable-Gw-/221002847505?Pt=Pda_Accessories&Hash=Item3374cbd511

Neither one are useful.

They would need to be in direct sun to have significant output and most people would not want to put their cell phone in direct sun.

In Which Country Mostly Solar Panels Used?

Germany has become the global leader in electricity generated through solar panels. It produces about half of the world’s total solar electricity.

Germany adopted a law in 2000 that requires the country’s immense power companies to subsidize new solar companies by buying electricity from them at marked-up rates. In 2002, Germans installed more than 10,000 solar panel systems. In 2003, they installed some 20,000 solar panel systems, almost twice the number installed the previous year. This growth continued in 2004. In 2005, Germany was the fastest growing major solar panel market in the world.

As of May 2007, 15 of the 20 biggest solar panel plants in the world are in Germany, even though Germany has only half as many sunny days as countries such as Portugal. The German government decided to phase out all of its nuclear power plants by 2020.

That article is from the website below in the source..it was 2007 ..So unless some other countries have overtaken germany in this field since then The answer is germany...

What Are Americans Doing For The Environment?
I Just Make This Question Because I Think It Is Important That Everyone In The World, Overall Industrialized And Populated Countries Have Knowledge Of The Importance Of This Subject.

They are not doing nearly enough and the government isn't helping much either.... people are forgetting about what is important and our environment is deteriorating constantly - and people are fighting the wrong issues... like global warming.. it exists but it's not the factor people are making it out to be, we are moving closer to the sun which is why we are getting hotter and the Earth constantly changes.. where there is a mountain one day there won't be down the road -but no one is stopping people cutting down mass amounts of trees to build unaffordable housing or another mall. People would rather water their lawn with drinking water, then use reclaimed water. The government ok'd drilling off the coast for oil, not caring about the major environmental consequences, instead of investing in other means-People dump Refrigerators and couches in the woods, places like 7-11 and other convenient stores still use Styrofoam cups.... we are destroying our environment little by little and it's something we can not take back... I will have to say though I do think people are less likely today to throw a cup out their window then they were 20 years ago, but we are doing worse in other ways

What Size Solar Panel Is Best For Homes ?
What Size Solar Panel Would Reduce Power Bill By Half ? What Is Involved In Hooking It Up To The Service Line ? How Much Would It Cost To Make These ? Home Is 2100 Sq. Feet.

Can't be answered with the information you've provided. The output of a panel depends on where you live. The usage of any particular home depends on the people, not the size of the home. The cost to set it up depends on how many panels and how big a battery farm you want to run.

So call a company that does this, and let them give you a quote for your specific system.

Trust me, you aren't going to make back your investment any time soon.
