What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for property owner to use the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning unit, washing clothing, watching TV, cooking dinner. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are significant, numerous home owners find that the convenience, distinct features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are even more alluring.

Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically reduce or perhaps eliminate your electrical costs

Whether you're a house owner, company, or nonprofit, electrical energy costs can comprise a big part of your monthly costs. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll produce free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will minimize your utility costs and you'll still conserve a lot of loan.

#2 Earn a terrific return on your investment

Solar panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the best ways to invest, with returns equaling those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical power bill savings, the typical American homeowner pays off their solar panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against increasing energy costs

Among the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, property electrical power costs have increased by an average of 3 percent yearly. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and secure versus unforeseeable increases in electrical power expenses. If you're an organisation or homeowner with changing cash circulation, going solar likewise assists you much better projection and handle your expenses.

#4 Increase your home value

Several research studies have found that houses equipped with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property worths and sell faster than non-solar homes. Appraisers are progressively taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, need for residential or commercial properties equipped with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial component of accomplishing energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost changes in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your regional economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market added jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This growth is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related jobs tend to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a significant contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a fantastic method to decrease your carbon footprint. Structures are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably decrease that number. A typical domestic solar panel system will get rid of three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and business social duty are essential parts of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Significantly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding organisations that opt to run responsibly. Companies are discovering that "green" credentials are an effective motorist of customer purchasing choices, developing goodwill and improving organisation outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous property owners decide to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This suggests that a third-party company-- the solar supplier-- owns the planetary system and takes care of setup, maintenance, monitoring and repair works. You simply pay the solar supplier for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are infamous for their fluctuating and undependable electrical power rates. There is plainly an upward trend.

With photovoltaic panels and basic mathematics, we can calculate how much electrical energy will be created, and most significantly, at exactly what cost, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (repaired energy costs).

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Build An Electric Scooter With A Rechargeable Battery Or Solar Panels? Is Solar Or Rechargable Better
I'D Like To Have The Scooter Cost Less Than About $1000 To Make.

If you are asking this question here it's probably too dangerous for you to try this by yourself.

For your second question though, there is no reason that a scooter couldn't be both solar AND rechargeable, and that is probably how you'd want to do it anyway. The solar cells would recharge the battery, but since you wouldn't have room to put enough solar cells on a scooter to keep it powered up all the time you would need to plug it in every so often to keep it charged up.

If you must go with one or the other then solar is not practical by itself, the sun is not always shining and you could not fit enough cells on a scooter to keep it running at more than a crawl.

Why Aren'T We Mass Producing Solar Panels?

Do you mean "We" as in the USA, or "We" as in the human species in general?

There's a few companies making panels in the US, but their prices can't compete with the panels from China. The Chinese companies can sell them so cheaply because they're being heavily subsidized by the Chinese government.

While more and more panels are being installed, it's still fairly expensive. The average cost for a home system is around $15k-$20k and that's after the tax breaks. That gives the system an ROI of about 7 to 10 years.

Also, while solar panels provide green energy, their manufacturing process is far from green. In fact they're pretty toxic.

If You Want To Rely On Solar Electricity Exclusively, How Many Solar Panels Will You Need To Buy?
Solar Energy Is One Of The Most Important Components Of A Renewable Energy Future. Your Parents Are Considering Installing Photovoltaic Cells, Which Convert The Sun’S Energy Directly Into Electricity, On Their Roof, And Have Asked For Your Help. You Do Some Research And Learn That, On A Sunny Day In Idaho, Sunlight At The Earth’S Surface Provides About 0.75 Kilowatt/M2. Solar Panels Have An Area Of 0.5 Square Meter, Operate At 10% Efficiency, And Cost $63. Your Parents Use Electricity At A Rate Of 2 Kw. 1. If Your Parents Want To Rely On Solar Electricity Exclusively, How Many Solar Panels Will They Need To Buy? How Big Must Their Roof Be (In Feet) To Hold The Array Of Panels? 2. If Electricity Costs $0.08 Per Kilowatt-Hour, How Long Will It Take Your Parents To Recoup Their Initial Investment?

Since there are 24 hours in a day, to be completely off-grid you also need battery back-up, a charge converted, and an inverter.

Buut I digress.

I think the questin is asking how to generate peak power of 2 kw

1 solar panel generate
.5*0.75*0.10 kw
0.0375 kw

for 2 kw

54 panels

the square footage is 27 m^2

291 square feet.

the cost is 54*63

at 2 kw/hr

3402/(2*0.08) hours

21262 hours

Are Solar Panels And Wind Turbines Really Manufactured From Oil?
I Heard Somewhere That Solar Panels And Wind Turbines Are Manufactured From Oil Is This True ?

Probably so, since plastics are made from oil. However, manufacturing the items used to generate power is a one time thing. This is far better than burning fossil fuels on an ongoing basis to generate power.

How Do Solar Pannels Work?
Pls Answer This Question In A Paragraph. I Need Some Help! Thanks A Lot!!:):):):):):):)

Silicon is mounted beneath non-reflective glass to produce photovoltaic panels. These panels collect photons from the sun, converting them into DC electrical power. The power created then flows into an inverter. The inverter transforms the power into basic voltage and AC electrical power.
That is a very brief explanation, but some may prefer a more in depth answer the question, “How do solar panels work?” Here is the more detailed response, though it still remains fairly basic:
To start off, it is crucial that silicon be better explained. Silicon has four electrons in its outer shell. However, it has the capacity rto hold eight. By sharing these four electrons with other silicon atoms and their four shell electrons, the capacity of eight is filled. When they combine with each other in this way, silicon atoms develop a strong, stable bond. This structure is known as pure, crystalline silicon.
Of course, this pure silicon is a poor conductor of electricity, as there are no electrons free to move about. In other words, the silicon is better off with impurities. To create these impurities, silicon is combined with something else.
When silicon combines with an element that has five electrons to share, such as phosphorus, a negative charge is created. Silicon can only take four of the five electrons. This leaves one free electron looking for a spot. These additional electrons are known as free carriers; they carry an electrical current.
On the other hand, when silicon is combined with an element that has three electrons a positive charge is created. Boron is a material which suits this purpose. When silicon and boron are combined, holes are created.
These silicon combinations and their differing charges are used to make solar panels. As photons come down from the sunlight and strike the silicon, it shakes everything up. The free electron that was hanging onto the silicon/phosphorous combination is now forced to the outer ring. From here, it gets sucked up to the outer ring of the silicon/boron combination. This is how electricity is created.
