What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to use the sun to power daily life: running your a/c, cleaning clothes, seeing TV, cooking supper. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are considerable, lots of property owners discover that the benefit, unique features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are even more alluring.

Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly decrease or perhaps eliminate your electric expenses

Whether you're a house owner, service, or nonprofit, electrical energy costs can comprise a large portion of your month-to-month expenditures. With a solar panel system, you'll create totally free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will lower your utility expenses and you'll still conserve a lot of cash.

#2 Earn a great return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the finest methods to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical power expense cost savings, the average American property owner settles their solar panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure versus increasing energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge utility prices. In the previous ten years, property electrical power costs have actually gone up by approximately three percent yearly. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and safeguard versus unpredictable boosts in electrical energy expenses. If you're a company or house owner with fluctuating cash flow, going solar likewise helps you better forecast and manage your costs.

#4 Increase your property worth

Several research studies have actually found that houses geared up with solar energy systems have greater property worths and sell more quickly than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more educated about solar, need for homes equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key part of accomplishing energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from rate changes in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar industry added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This growth is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Protect the environment

Solar is a fantastic method to minimize your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A normal domestic solar panel system will eliminate three to four tons of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Show your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and business social obligation are necessary components of a company's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, consumers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding organisations that choose to run responsibly. Businesses are discovering that "green" qualifications are a powerful motorist of customer getting choices, developing goodwill and enhancing service results.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Lots of house owners pick to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" financing choices. This indicates that a third-party company-- the solar service provider-- owns the planetary system and takes care of setup, upkeep, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar company for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are infamous for their varying and unreliable electrical energy costs. There is plainly an upward trend.

With solar panels and simple math, we can determine what does it cost? electrical energy will be generated, and most importantly, at what rate, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy expenses).

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

  • We own the solar panel system
  • $0 down for installation
  • Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use

  • Customer pays for the system upfront and owns the system
  • System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
  • Receive 30% federal tax credit
  • See a return on investment within 7-10 years

What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?

We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

I Need Info On Solar Energy Now!?
I'm Doing A Report Thing For School. My Science Teacher Is Pretending To Be The Queen Of A Made Up Country And The Class Is Split Into Groups To Try To 'Sell' Different Types Of Alternate Energy To Her. My Group Has Solar Energy. I Need Arguments For Questions Like "What Do You Do At Night Or On Cloudy/Rainy Days?" "What Happens To The Waste Produced By The Manufacturing Of The Solar Cells And Stuff?" And Stuff Like That. Please Answer Quickly, The Report Is Tomorrow! (Though The Bus Doesn't Pick Me Up 'Til A Little Before 11. Yay, Middle College!)

How is the country going to deal with the intial cost of installing the solar energy cells? They are extremely expensive.

A solar energy installation requires a large area for the system to be efficient in providing a source of electricity. This may be a disadvantage in areas where space is short, or expensive (such as inner cities).

To generate enough current to be useful, the panel needs to be large quite large. The panel will ruin the ambiance of the house (solar panels are not very attractive looking).

The sun's rays moves at different angles depending on the season and the solar panel would need to be repositioned to produce energy. Is there a source of labor that would be willing to do that for just about every season?

Wind Energy?
Could You Please Tell Me The Following About Wind Energy 1. What The Source Is 2. How Is It Produced 3. How Far Away We Are From Using This Source 4. Where Can It Be Used 5. Why It Is A Good Alternative To Current Fossil Fuels

1. what the source is:
The source is solar energy heating the atmosphere, earth, and water.

2. how is it produced:
Wind is captured by windmills. Modern windmills for energy generation almost always three blades. the rotation of the blades rotates an electric generator to produce electric current.

3. how far away we are from using this source
We are using it today. As the cost of oil increases, it will become economically viable without government support. See "Peak Oil" for information about the economics of an important source of energy, oil.

4. where can it be used
It can be used in windy places such as near the western coast of the United States.

5. why it is a good alternative to current fossil fuels
Fossil fuels cannot be produced in the future at rates that meet the demand at current prices. Fossil fuel production is the same from year to year. Demand for energy is increasing every year at current prices. Also, fossil fuels contribute to carbon dioxide emissions (a greenhouse gas) that causes global warming. Over a period of 100 years, we expect that the ocean levels will rise 20 feet. We also expect climate change that will result in failed crops and massive starvation.

The future will see huge and drastic increases in energy prices. Wind energy is very cost effective when compared to other renewable energy sources. However, hydroelectric may be more cost effective (although we cannot produced enough hydroelectric energy).

By the way, nuclear energy is not viable. Uranium miners have died because of radiation exposure. Numerous reported and unreported releases of radioactive gases from facilities. Storage of depleted uranium is a problem that is hugely expensive and has not been solved. Containers of radioactive waste leak and are a terrorist target. Nuclear power is not viable because of the risks. Investors will implement new plants only with government subsidies and warrantees against liabilities. Under those circumstances, would you like to be a uranium miner or would you like to have a power plant in your back yard?

Rate My Pokemon Soul Silver Team?
Rate My Pokemon Team? Give Reasons Why It Deserves That Rating? Help Me With The Items? Help Me Make It More Balanced? Also, I'M Struggling To Decide Which Is Better For My Team, Blissey Or Dusknoir. All My Pokemons Are All Lvl 100 And Ev Trained. I Am Open To All Suggestions. Umbreon Sassy Nature Held Item: Leftovers Curse Protect Wish Payback Typhlosion Modest Nature Held Item: Heat Rock Substitute Flamethrower Sunny Day Solar Beam Salamence Adamant Nature Held Item: Life Orb Earthquake Rock Slide Dragon Claw Roost Metagross Adamant Nature Held Item: Quick Claw Meteor Mash Earthquake Zen Headbutt Explosion Dusknoir Impish Nature / Blissey Bold Nature Held Item: Leftovers / Held Item: Leftovers Shadow Sneak / Thunder Wave Pain Split / Aromatherapy Thunderpunch / Softboiled Will-O-Wisp / Seismic Toss Milotic Bold Nature Held Item: Leftovers Energy Ball Ice Beam Recover Surf

Umbreon: Wish and Protect is a good combo, but what about Moonlight and Toxic? It's not better or worse over the other option (as Moonlight and Sandstorm don't mix well), but it gives you another form of attacking (toxic stalling).

Typhlosion: You did good on him... but unfortunately, its on HIM. Typhlosion is a weak fire type (which, in itself, is a weak type), and generally shouldn't be used to often (I raised one, and I ditched it as soon as I could). A sunny day-solarbeam set would work better on a grass type with Chlorophyll. Exeggutor, Bellossom, and Tangrowth are examples that can work better with a set like that. Some fire types even pull that set better, like Magmortar. Its a good move set, not a good pokemon.

Salamance: I can see where your going with Roost, but is it neccassary? yes, recovering that 10% off every time is nice, but Salamance can do so much more. Dragon Dancing is one thing that he can do nicely, or even Fire Fang/Flamethrower could work, to cover Brozong and Skarmory (who resist this move set). Roost can be kept if you find it more useful then I do, however, as it does have potential.

Metagross: The move set is good, but to item isnt that great. Expert belt would work better for him then a quick claw, as he doesn't exactly mind going last (its a nice benefit going first, don't get me wrong. But a benefit to super-effective moves might work better on him then an occasional turn to go first).

Dusknoir vs. Blissy: Thats a tough one. Seeing how the team isn't weak to Fighting, nor Dark and Ghost, it's not an easy pick. My personal suggestion is Dusknoir, and here's why. Your team seems to have a lot of special walls (Milotic is more special, and so is Umbreon before the Curse boosts), so a Blissy would seem to only increase the lop-sided defense stat on the team. Dusknoir, from what I remember, is a mixed wall. He doesn't help to lop-sided defense, but at least he doesn't hinder it.

Dusknoir: Now that we have gotten who to pick out of the way, I say you did fine. I can't really pick anything nit-picky about it, just, in my personal opinoin, Fire punch complements Shadow Sneak more then Thunder punch, by covering steel types.

Milotic: I haven't had any experience with Milotic, so I can't tell you that much about it. It seems you did fine, however, as you got Surf and Ice beam for most stuff, and Energy ball for waters. Recover just rounds everything out.

Overall, next to typhlosion, this is a really though team to beat, and is well planned and thought of well. my rating is a 9 out of 10.

I Need Help With My Science Project?
Where Does Solar Energy Come From? How Can We Use It In Our Daily Lives? How Is It Collected So That Humans Can Use It? What Are The Advantages Of It? What Are The Disadvantages Of It?

1) Solar energy comes from the sun. Actually this energy is a result of the atomic fusions that happens at the sun because of the high temperatures and atm. Just for knowlege atomic fussion is also the energy that runs the core of Earth.

2) It is not "how can we use it"! We use it!!! Natural uses is in Photosynthesis, in mutations on DNA (and Rna) in order to evolve life or to produce Vitamin B in our bodies and soooooooo much more!! Also Winds are result of the solar energy also as weather. In tecnology we can use Solar energy in order of biochemical actions, in producing electricity (Photoelectric phainomena), heat, cool, mechanical energy and maaany more!!

3 Advantages : Free (actually nothing is free) and unlimited (for humanity's life scale) energy source, "Green" energy.

4) Disadvantages : The current techologies cannot utilize solar energy very well (e.x. Solar PV have an efficiency of 8-16%) also they are more expensive (for producing electric energy). Solar geometry is not the same in every place on planet. New solar techology investments makes it costier (at the bigining as the laws of free market).

Where Did Solar Cells Come From?
Yeah, Were Did They Come From Did Someone Invent Them Cuz I Really Dont Noe Where They Come From, Or Who Invented Them.. The Internet Says Nothing About It Can U Please Tell Me!!! Thank You :)

Read link, starting at "Timeline of Solar Energy".
The principle was recognized by Becquerel in 1839, and the first solar cell was built in 1883 by Charles Fritts; it was only 1% efficient.
It got progressively better over time, evidently.
