What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the finest methods to invest, with returns rivaling those of more standard investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy expense savings, the typical American house owner pays off their solar panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard against increasing energy costs

One of the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, property electricity prices have actually gone up by an average of 3 percent yearly. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical power rate and safeguard versus unpredictable boosts in electrical power costs. If you're a service or property owner with ever-changing capital, going solar likewise assists you much better forecast and handle your expenditures.

#4 Boost your property worth

Numerous studies have found that houses geared up with solar energy systems have higher home values and offer more quickly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are progressively taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more educated about solar, demand for residential or commercial properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and an essential part of attaining energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to create electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from rate changes in worldwide energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry included tasks at a rate almost 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This development is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a substantial contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a great method to lower your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A typical property photovoltaic panel system will eliminate 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees yearly.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social duty are essential parts of an organization's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Progressively, customers and neighborhoods are acknowledging and rewarding organisations that opt to run responsibly. Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous property owners decide to fund their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This suggests that a third-party business-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and takes care of setup, maintenance, monitoring and repair works. You merely pay the solar provider for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the energy company.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The energy business are well-known for their varying and undependable electrical energy prices. There is plainly an upward pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Do Solar Flares Do?

Solar flares are explosions of energy and magnetic force that typically develop around massive storms on the sun's surface that are called sun spots. A sun spot is a disruption on the surface of the sun that is similar to a massive storm on earth, except the size of these storms and their causes have yet to be fully understood.

What scientists do understand is the effect solar flares can have on earth. Under the right situations, when the earth and sun face each other during a solar flare event, earth can be battered by massive bursts of energy via wavelength X-rays, gamma rays and magnetic disturbances, which can alter the earth's ability to protect itself from dangerous particles emitted into space.

Solar flares can affect shortwave radio communication on earth when the energy from a solar storm emits a flare. Flares shoot enormous amounts of energy into space traveling at amazing speed, and it extends into the farthest reaches of the solar system. The natural defenses of the earth protect its inhabitants from solar flares. Man-made technologies actually have more negative effects on the earth and the atmosphere than flares do.

Earth's satellites can have orbits altered by the massive energy pulses of a solar flare. Atmospheres are affected by these energy flares as well. The introduction of short-wave and long-wave gamma and X-rays that are the product of solar flares can ionize the components of a planet's atmosphere leaving it less able to maintain an even enclosure around the planet in question. For earth, the atmosphere that wraps the planet is in a constant state defense against forces from within and out. Powerful solar flares can generate huge holes in the ionosphere, which can negatively affect people and equipment on earth.

Scientists continue to research the affects of solar flares on earth. What we know now about how a Solar Flare affects Earth, is that we need to know more.

What Is Solar Energy?
I Am Doing A Highschool Project On Solar Energy Answers Please Detailed!!!

There are several kinds. Straight UV radiation or sunlight can produce electricity with photovoltaics, or be used in a passive form to heat a greenhouse, earth-ship, or hot-water collector, or mirrors can be used to concentrate sunlight to heat up to 1500 degrees. Then there is wind, this is solar energy in the form of uneven heating of the earths surface from the sun. Also, we can get into wave energy that comes from the moon and its gravitational pull on the earth. Then there is stored solar energy from the "big bang" that we know as magma creating geothermal energy. And last is the bad daddy of them all, stored ancient sunlight in the form of fossil fuels. So technically all are "solar" energy.

What Elements Are The Best Choices For Storing Solar Energy Captured By Solar Cells? Why?
Thanks For Your Help!

There is nothing in the periodic table of elements that is a good choice for storing solar energy. For that matter, solar cells produce electrons, which can only be stored in a rechargeable battery of some kind or a capacitor of some kind. Alternating currents cannot be stored at all. A capacitor capable of storing enough electrons to be commercially useful for grid power would be extremely large and extremely dangerous. Even the best of rechargeable batteries today have limited energy densities, too small for commercial grid power. Photoelectric elements lie along the semi-metal line in the periodic table - arsenic, silicon, gallium, etc.
Silicon dioxide and gallium arsenide are the present industry leading materials in photoelectric devices. The molecular key is that the bond energies of electrons in these substances are equal, approximately, to the energy levels of certain photons, so capturing such a photon knocks loose an electron, which can be collected with others into an electric current. Better capture rates require a mixture of materials such that photons of any wavelength can be captured and used to liberate electrons.

Why Solar Energy Application Is Not Widely Used Inspite Of?
Various Cost Advantages And Simplicity?Only Nuclear Energy Which Is Risk Prone Is Widely Talked About?

There is no advantage when it comes to meeting consumer need during higher demand times. Solar (i.e. photovoltaic-converters) can only 'supply' electrical power at the same rate that it can 'receive' solar/light power. As a power company, there's no economical way you can increase production to meet increased demand. Since it's 'simple' like that, there is the 'illusion' of an advantage. You as a consumer would have to find a way to store that electricity produced in the daytime, to get you through the night. Same way with wind turbines and the like. Unless you can make Mother Nature 'blow/shine/flow/whatever a little harder" so you can convert a little more power at-will, those applications will never completely replace present systems.

Contrast that to coal-fired plants, which can simply burn more fuel to produce more electricity, coal gets the real 'cost and simplicity' advantages. But we're talking about reduced carbon output so...

As for nuclear, modern plants do not have more 'risks' to operate than any other enterprise. Forget about Chernobyl, the Soviets and their Ukranian cohorts didn't know what they were doing in the first place; we in the West wouldn't even consider the same type of cooling material that they used. They used graphite, which is a flammable metal once you get it hot enough and that's what did them in (on top of bad safety and accident-prevention procedures). We use water, so the compounded risk of core meltdown is way lower. Our Navy has been nuclear-powered for years, with Zero accidents/incidents related to their power source. They're proof that the risks are quite manageable.

Nuclear plants increase electrical output by putting more fuel rods into play. That translates into more heat for their steam turbines, which then can spin more to produce more electricity as needed. It's because of all that is why nuclear is the only other viable carbon-reduced alternative.
