What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning unit, washing clothing, viewing TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while lowering your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological advantages of solar power are substantial, numerous homeowners discover that the convenience, distinct features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically reduce or perhaps eliminate your electrical costs

Whether you're a property owner, organization, or nonprofit, electrical power expenses can comprise a big portion of your regular monthly expenditures. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will lower your energy bills and you'll still save a lot of loan.

#2 Make a terrific return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the best methods to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy expense savings, the average American house owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the ability to hedge energy prices. In the previous 10 years, residential electrical power prices have increased by an average of three percent each year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and safeguard against unpredictable increases in electrical energy costs. If you're a service or homeowner with changing capital, going solar likewise assists you much better forecast and handle your costs.

#4 Boost your home or business value

Multiple research studies have actually discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher home values and sell quicker than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more educated about solar, need for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial element of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our country from rate fluctuations in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar industry added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This development is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related tasks have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant contributor to the United States economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a great method to minimize your carbon footprint. Structures are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A typical residential photovoltaic panel system will get rid of 3 to 4 heaps of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees yearly.

#8 Demonstrate your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and business social responsibility are very important components of a company's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Significantly, customers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding organisations that select to operate properly. Companies are discovering that "green" credentials are an effective driver of customer acquiring decisions, producing goodwill and improving business outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power arrangements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Lots of house owners select to fund their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" financing choices. This means that a third-party company-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, upkeep, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar supplier for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility companies are infamous for their changing and undependable electrical energy prices. There is plainly an upward trend.

With photovoltaic panels and easy math, we can determine how much electrical energy will be generated, and most importantly, at what rate, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy expenses).

You are better off doing this investigation and knowledge gathering yourself.

Why Is Solar Energy Better Than Fossil Fuel?

There are multiple reasons...
1) Less impact. Solar energy comes from (here's the shocker...jk) the Sun! You see our sun is a renewable resource, therefore it won't run out. Or at least not in the next three billion years :) Fossil fuels, however, are in a limited supply and take millions of years of heat and pressure to form. You tell me, which one will run out first?
2) CO2 Emmisions. CO2, or carbon dioxide, is released into the atmoshpherre when fossil fuels are burned. So are other green house gases (methane, nitrogen, etc.) that trap in heat and sunlight, forming global warming. Now, it's totally normal to have CO2 in the air, but humans have put in way to much. This make the whole delicate balance of nature totally off. This takes credit for unusual weather, higher ocean levels, mass extinction, melting ice caps/glaciers, and more.

What Type Of Energy In Nevada?
What Type Of Energy (If Nevada Were To Build A New Plant) Would Be Best Suited For Nevada, And Why? The Choice Is Between Solar Power And Geothermal.

Solar will be best due to all the sunshine the state gets
There is some geothermal potential, (as there are some hot sprngs in the state) but not much. I am unaware of any active volcanoes there

Why Is Oil Drilling So Bad For The Environment?
I Know Nothing About Oil Drilling, But With Modern Technology, Why Does This Have To Equate To Environmental Rape? Can't They Be Careful? Are There Spills? Do You Have To Level Mountains To Begin Drilling? I Thought We Already Brought All Kinds Of Oil Here Through The Alaskan Pipeline, Is This Something New? I'm Non Partisan, Just Trying To Figure Out How Drilling Equals Disaster.

That is a good question. There is no quick answer. I will not bore you with a three page essay, or a three year study of "off shore oil spills". A major problem is oil corporations that exist for bottom line this quarter profits don't reinvest in routine maitenence. West Texas has frequent refinery fires costing lives, and the refineries process crude oil that was drilled. I am sure there are many oil spill related problems we don't hear about because Britney Kfed took the spotlight in the Giganitcorp dog and pony show that is media.

For me the problem is nations that are hostile to western democracy and things like a woman's rights to drive or not have to wear a head to toe bed sheet in public have the most oil reserves on the planet and the solution is alternative fuels. I used to be more liberal about the middle east but though I think there are many nice people trying to be good who profess Islam as a faith of "peace", among them are too many who would force it down our throats and on examination the actual holy books of this faith that rules Oil Rich countries are clearly hostile to all other faiths and systems of law.

Until MIT has found a way to harness solar energy for everyday use, and that day is coming, we must use less oil. Use of fossil fuels increases carbon emissions and that leads to fun things like global warming, increased storms and climate change. If Americans reduce carbon emissions by 2% a year we will reduce them by 80% in the year 2050. Change in our lifetime.

How? Drive less, drive the speed limit, don't tailgate as rapid braking and accelerating eats gas, check tirepressure and use cruise control. I can get 34mpg in my 1990 Cadilac on the Highway and I bike in town or walk if it's less than 5 blocks.

Plastics are petroleum based too, how many water bottles do we throw away because there is not a convienient recycling program nearby? My solution is a 10cent deposit on all individual size beverage containers. But I said no three page answer, so adieu.

In order to figure out how much "load" your house is going to need, you'll need to add up all the projected electrical use that your future home will consume. You'll need to add up things like the fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher, water heater (could be solar), TV, computer(s), all other misc electronic stuff will really suck up the power. Don't forget about the lights-think LED or compact flourescent. Also-think about adding more insulation than that which is required by your local building codes. A high-effeciency HVAC system will also help curb the electrical usage.
