About Solar Energy
Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.
Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.
Solar power makes it possible for home owners to use the sun to power everyday life: running your air conditioning unit, cleaning clothes, enjoying TV, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are significant, numerous residents find that the convenience, unique features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more alluring.
Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy
#1 Dramatically minimize and even remove your electric bills
Whether you're a house owner, organization, or not-for-profit, electrical energy costs can comprise a big part of your monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll create free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will minimize your utility expenses and you'll still conserve a great deal of loan.
#2 Earn a terrific return on your financial investment
Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical power bill cost savings, the average American homeowner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.
#3 Safeguard versus rising energy costs
One of the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge energy prices. In the past 10 years, domestic electricity costs have gone up by an average of three percent every year. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and secure versus unpredictable boosts in electricity costs. If you're a company or homeowner with ever-changing cash flow, going solar also assists you much better forecast and manage your costs.
#4 Increase your house worth
Multiple research studies have discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have greater property values and offer faster than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more informed about solar, demand for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.
#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance
The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial component of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to create electrical power from the sun, we can also insulate our country from rate fluctuations in worldwide energy markets.
#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy
According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the country. This development is anticipated to continue. Since solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable factor to the United States economy.
#7 Safeguard the environment
Solar is a fantastic method to decrease your carbon footprint. Buildings are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A common domestic solar panel system will remove three to 4 tons of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.
#8 Demonstrate your dedication to sustainability
Sustainability and business social obligation are very important parts of a company's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Progressively, consumers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding organisations that choose to operate properly. Businesses are finding that "green" qualifications are a powerful chauffeur of consumer purchasing choices, developing goodwill and improving organisation results.
#9 Start Conserving from Day 1
Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no money down.
Lots of property owners opt to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This means that a third-party company-- the solar supplier-- owns the planetary system and takes care of installation, maintenance, monitoring and repair works. You merely pay the solar supplier for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility business.
As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.
#10. Solar is a Secure Investment
The energy business are infamous for their changing and undependable electrical energy prices. There is plainly an upward pattern.
With photovoltaic panels and basic mathematics, we can compute how much electrical power will be created, and most notably, at exactly what cost, for at least the next 20 years (repaired energy costs).

- We own the solar panel system
- $0 down for installation
- Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use
- Customer pays for the system upfront and owns the system
- System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
- Receive 30% federal tax credit
- See a return on investment within 7-10 years
What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?
We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.
What is the warranty?
The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Types Solar Cells Are Better For Use In Solar Panels?
Amorphous Cells, Polycrystalline Cells, Single-Cell Solar Cells
They are too expensive ,and the pay out will probably not be very good. Note of caution !! mount them very sturdy as they have a lot of surface so a little wind can tare them up.
Ways We Turn Solar Into Energy We Use?
How Do We Turn Solar Energy Into Energy
You can turn light energy directly into electrical energy by using photovoltaic cells (solar panels). These are what satellites in Earth orbit use, with those big flat panels.
You can also use sunlight to heat water to turn a turbine. This is how some solar power plants out in Arizona does it-- An array of mirrors focus sunlight onto one spot on a heating tower where water is boiled by the concentrated sunlight. The steam is used to turn a turbine to turn a generator to produce electricity.
Those are the two most common that I can think of.

How Can I Run My House Purely Off Of Solar Panels?
Im Trying To Run My House With With Solar Panels, Is It Possible? If So Please Let Me Know How....
I Have A 16000 W Inverter
No, because you have night time usage and cloudy days where you could not produce any electricity. However you could obtain all power from solar panels and then store energy for these times, but you can't do so economically.
First you would have to determine what is the minimal amount of solar insolation that your house receives. This would probably be in December in the Northern Hemisphere. Then you need to consider how many cloudy days and how much night time usage you need to consider for energy storage. Then you need to consider how much of an extra energy buffer you need to build into the system.
Finally you will be faced with the reality that you could be paying 3 or 4 times more for a system to satisfy 100% of your needs than you would for a system that could for-fill 80% of your needs.
In the summer you would be producing far more electricity than you could use or practically store. Eventually we will have batteries that can store energy in a stable chemistry over a very long period of time. These heat batteries might be such an example: http://www.solarthermalmagazine.com/2010...
Why Isn'T Tesla'S Unlimited Energy Solution Being Used Today?
I Found Out Today That Nikola Tesla Invented A Free Unlimited Source Of Energy Using Our Atmosphere. Why Isn'T It Being Used.. It Would Change This World In Every Way.
Hey Chris, Homer is correct in that the device you speak of does not extract free energy from thin air. It has been called the Tesla Coil, Tesla Generator, and lately the Tesla Unlimited Energy Device. The device is a receiver. What Tesla was trying to get at was that energy can be pumped into both the earth and the atmosphere, transmitted over long distances and picked back up at the receiver to be used for whatever purposes were desired. This free energy has to be produced and put into the atmosphere first, purportedly by a power company. It isn't free, but the problem is it can be pirated at any location with the use of another Tesla Coil, which means less of it is now available for the receiving coil that may have been originally built to receive the energy in the first place. It's like a bank using a high power cannon to blast dollar bills into the air that are carried on the wind until someone on a tall hill reaches up and grabs them as they drift by. It isn't free money, it's the banks, and they're going to want someone to pay for it. The dollar bills do not occur naturally as a result of atmospheric movement, they have to be put there first, same as Teslas free energy.
Well in the end, we do transmit energy over long distances, with the use of a wire, and then anyone willing to pay for some of it can hook their wire to the long wire with a meter to keep track of how much they are using so the electric company can pay their bills too. You don't have to get your power from them however, we don't. Our home generates its power from the wind and sun, now that is free energy. While solar photovoltiac panels have only been around 50 years or so, wind power dates back to the 3rd century, even before Tesla showed up with his building sized lightning producing hairbrush. You don't have to be a physicist to make a wind turbine or a solar panel work either, we put ours in ourselves 10 years ago and it still works fine today.
UFOTV.com has an interesting video on this Tesla Unlimited Free Energy, how anyone can build a receivier and extract energy from the atmosphere for free. They are also publishers of videos and MP3 downloads on such proven scientific endeavors as, "Inside the Alien Mind," and, "Unknown UFO's today." If that's the source of your research, check and see if you can finish their latest MP3 download before the next ship lands in the desert. I found it interesting that this Tesla device can be built with common substances and ordinary tools by anyone handy, while at the same time claiming the notes on its construction were somehow mysteriously absconded with. If we don't have the notes, how do we know what the thing is made out of?
If you want to learn more about Tesla energy transmission, check out Wikipedia, or physicsforums.com, they have a pretty good discussion on the system and how it actually works. If you want free energy instead, check out solar and wind at some of the sources below, we did years ago, it's how we got to where we are today. Good luck Chris, and take care, Rudydoo
