What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for resident to use the sun to power daily life: running your a/c unit, washing clothing, seeing TV, cooking supper. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are considerable, many property owners find that the benefit, unique features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically minimize or perhaps remove your electrical bills

Whether you're a house owner, business, or not-for-profit, electricity expenses can comprise a big portion of your monthly expenditures. With a solar panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will lower your utility bills and you'll still save a great deal of loan.

#2 Earn a terrific return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the finest methods to invest, with returns equaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical power expense savings, the typical American property owner settles their solar panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus increasing energy costs

One of the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, property electrical energy rates have gone up by approximately 3 percent each year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can fix your electricity rate and safeguard versus unforeseeable boosts in electrical energy expenses. If you're an organisation or property owner with fluctuating cash flow, going solar also assists you better projection and handle your expenses.

#4 Increase your home worth

Multiple research studies have discovered that houses equipped with solar energy systems have greater property values and sell more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are progressively taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more informed about solar, need for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key component of achieving energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our country from rate fluctuations in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added tasks at a rate almost 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This development is expected to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a considerable factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a terrific way to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A normal domestic photovoltaic panel system will remove 3 to 4 loads of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Show your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and business social responsibility are very important components of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Increasingly, consumers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding services that decide to run properly. Businesses are discovering that "green" credentials are a powerful chauffeur of consumer purchasing choices, developing goodwill and enhancing business outcomes.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no money down.

Lots of property owners opt to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This means that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, upkeep, tracking and repair works. You just pay the solar company for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The energy business are well-known for their varying and undependable electrical power costs. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and easy mathematics, we can compute how much electrical energy will be created, and most significantly, at exactly what rate, for at least the next 20 years (fixed energy costs).

Financing

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is The Best Way To Purchase Used Solar Panels By Container Load?
I Have A Friend From Bulgaria ( Europe ) Who Would Like To Buy A 20 Ft Container Of Used Solar Panls

I've got 10 used collectors on my roof. They are occasionally available from company's selling solar equipment or scrap yards.

Many collectors became available when the tax rebates from the Carter era ended and the systems required more upkeep and expense than the owners were willing to provide. Mine came from a school.

Most recently I came across a large group of used panel at this web site. Note that this was some time ago and I have no idea if they still have them or they were salvaged as scrap copper.

Other things to think about are that used collectors may be damaged. They may leak or may have been neglected and had their antifreeze become very acidic which can corrode the units (just things to think about).

How Does Solar Energy Work?
How Does The Solar Panels Energy Transmit To A House... Ect

solar pannels have solar cell which are semiconductors, when light fall on it acts as a tranducer converting light to electricity.
a groups of such cell connected together is called solar pannel.
this is similar to a battery.

How To Increase Current To Charge Battery Faster? 80 Watt Solar Panel?
I Have 80 Watt Solar Panel, Solar Control And Two Batteries. A Marine Deep Cycle Battery And Car Battery. Am Test How Long Does It Take To Charge The Batteries Completely. Im On Day Two And Still Nothing. Is There A Way I Can Charge The Batteries Fast? Do I Need To Increase The Current? The Solar Panels Are Connected In Series.

12-volt panels actually put out 14 to 17 volts which is necessary to charge a 12-volt battery. If you are using 12-volt panels and 12-volt batteries, the panels should NOT be in series unless the batteries are also in series and the charge controller is rated at 24 volts. Two non-similar batteries in series may not work well together.
Power (watts) = amps X volts, so an 80 watt 12-volt panel puts out 80/12=6.67 amps which should charge a battery overnight.

Why Is Efficiency Less Important For A Wind Turbine?

Hey Z, I would have to agree with Chris, less important than what? Wind turbines have a maximum theoretical efficiency of 59.6%. This was discovered by Albert Betz, it's called the Betz Limit. Most modern turbines operate at about 35% efficient, so about 1/3 of the energy of the moving column of air flowing through the turbines swept area is converted to usable torque, or electricity. Let's compare it to other modern technologies: Gasoline car engines, 25%. Incandescent light bulbs, 4%. Compact Flourescent lights (CF), 23%. Diesel engines, 34%. Solar panels, 12%. The thing is, with a turbine, if you want to build one that produces a maximum rated power of 1000 watts, like ours, you just work out the engineering so it produces that power in a good wind. With a car, or light bulb, we have to add more energy to overcome the losses. The only thing that is wasted in a turbine is airspace.

We don't really have any way to increase turbines past about 45% right now, there are a few experimental ones that get up there, but they don't work well in high winds or turbulent winds, so most manufacturers use three bladed models, which are a little less efficient, and then just make the blades longer to make up for the loss in efficiency. In the end it makes what power is expected of it. Solar panels are similar in this way. We could make a solar panel that is twice as efficient as the ones we have now, and they could make the same power in half the roof space, but they would cost more per unit power, there are some out there now in the low 20's. In the end you would have an array that makes the same power, but costs twice as much, so nobody buys those panels, they use the existing technology, same as we do here. It doesn't really matter much, our array runs our entire home, and it uses less than 1/5 th of the available roof space on our garage, a more expensive, more efficient array would cost more and use less roof space, which would accomplish nothing more than reducing our cash position. Efficiency is important if you're feeding a device something in exchange for getting something else in return, like a car, or an investment. But the wind and the sun are free, and there is plenty of square footage, and airspace to produce all of our grid power from it if we wanted, so no, it isn't very crucial. Take care Z, Rudydoo

Why Should We Use Solar Energy?
Why Should We Use Solar Energy

Because solar energy is renewable. Gas and oil burn up quickly, and we have to find more stores in the earth. They will eventually run out. But the sun will still be in the sky for billions of years. Solar panels capture the sun's light and passively make electricity. There are no moving parts. Solar panels last for over 40 years and supply a home with all the electricity it needs.

Plus, current state and federal incentives make solar energy very affordable. After the initial investment, you could be powering your home for free with sunlight!
