What would I do. Go saw some reclaimed timber (I was doing it all by hand yesterday anyway). Light the wood burning stove, make a nice cup of tea. Then go pick some fruit for breakfast and if the right season maybe some nuts. The school bus wouldn't arrive so I would have the kids home with me.
I would go plant more trees, or continue pointing the barn with lime putty, or continue sanding the reclaimed beech work surfaces I am finishing. Then I would wander down to the pond, collect some veggies for lunch, go back in and prepare lunch.
After lunch I would miss the internet (like to read articles and play on y/a) but I would get one of my well loved books down and have an hour reading. Then back outside to finish whatever project I was on with this morning. Maybe start sorting out the slates for the re-roofing.
Before tea I would hand wash out some clothing (hot water from stove or maybe we have actually finished installing the solar panels we have, waiting, for hot water), hang it on the line to dry.
