What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for resident to use the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c, cleaning clothing, watching TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental advantages of solar power are substantial, many home owners discover that the convenience, unique features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are even more enticing.

Leading Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically lower or even remove your electrical expenses

Whether you're a homeowner, organization, or not-for-profit, electrical energy costs can make up a large portion of your monthly expenses. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll create free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will decrease your energy bills and you'll still save a lot of money.

#2 Make a fantastic return on your investment

Solar panels aren't an expenditure-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more conventional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electricity bill cost savings, the typical American homeowner settles their solar panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against increasing energy costs

Among the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility rates. In the past 10 years, domestic electricity costs have gone up by an average of three percent every year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and secure versus unpredictable boosts in electrical energy costs. If you're a company or house owner with ever-changing cash flow, going solar likewise assists you better forecast and handle your costs.

#4 Increase your home or business value

Multiple research studies have discovered that homes geared up with solar energy systems have higher residential or commercial property worths and sell quicker than non-solar homes. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more informed about solar, demand for residential or commercial properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key part of achieving energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from cost fluctuations in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This growth is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable contributor to the United States economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a terrific way to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A typical residential photovoltaic panel system will get rid of 3 to four lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are essential parts of an organization's culture and values. They likewise produce bottom line results. Progressively, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding companies that opt to operate properly. Organisations are discovering that "green" qualifications are a powerful driver of consumer purchasing decisions, developing goodwill and improving organisation results.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power arrangements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no money down.

Numerous property owners opt to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This means that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the planetary system and looks after installation, upkeep, monitoring and repair works. You merely pay the solar company for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are well-known for their varying and unreliable electricity costs. There is plainly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and simple math, we can calculate just how much electrical power will be produced, and most importantly, at exactly what cost, for at least the next 20 years (fixed energy costs).

We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Prove To You That Global Warming Is False?
The Theory Of Global Warming Became Popular By An Inconvenient Truth By Al Gore Which States That The Ozone Is Being Destroyed By Greenhouse Gases (Especially Co2) And That The Earth Will Heat Up And Ice Caps Will Melt And Cause Another Desert Era. This Film Coincidentally Was Published Around The Time He Decided To Run For President. But Oddly Enough, This Fact Of Greenhouse Gases Destroying The Ozone, Would Be Much As An Oxymoron, Since The Ozone Is A Layer In The Atmosphere That Holds Heat In (Which Would Be Like Saying That You Are Trying To Burn A Hole Through Fire). Also If You Have Ever Taken A Coarse In Chemistry Then You Would Know That Co2 Not Only Is Much Smaller Then H20 Vapors But That H2o Vapors Consumes Way More Heat Than Co2 Emits, Making The Rise In Temperature Only Insignificantly A Rise Of About A Millionth Of A Degree Every Year. The Air Too Is Still Much Cleaner Now Than It Was In The 1970'S And 1980'S Which (In The 1960'S People Had Their Own Backwards Theory Of Global Warming, Except Instead Of Ice Caps Melting, It Was More Of Another Ice Age Coming, If Any Of You Are Old Enough To Remember This) Yet How Could We As American'S Go From One Extreme Theory Of New Ice Age To Another Global Warming, In Only About 20 Years? There Are Many Scientists Now Opposing Global Warming Is False, You Could Even Google It If You Must. But The Theory Of Global Warming Stays In The Media Of Course. This Is Because Many Different Marketing Companies (Especially Cars) Uses This As Their Leading Campaign To Get People To Buy Their Very Expensive Products. Although The Issue Of Another Fuel Source Is A Legitimate Issue Since Fossil Fuels Wont Be Around Forever, Especially With A Growing Population But I Digress. If You Could Think Of Any Evidence That Supports The Theory Of Global Warming, Please Post It And I Will Do My Best To Try To Find A Counter Example.

well the whole solar system is warming up. happens every few thousand years. the sun's doing. I don't think we've caused too much, yet, but even if the truth be know that it is not real, is it not just common sense to go green? recycle, find alternative fuel sources that are renewable and don't let out any form of pollution, no nuclear war, etc. seems like the only reasonable & safe approach to me, and if all else fails it should shut Gore up, right?

What Are Some Ways Of Storing Energy For A Solar House?
Please Send Me Some Links And Does Anybody Know Of Other Cultures Who Use Unique Ways To Store Energy For Later Use?

As most solar energy in a house is heat then anything with large thermal mass

eg find some old night-storage radiators and use the "bricks from them as teh back wall (north) of the concervatory or as a solar wall, used in Ladakh

or fill oil barrels with water, or old tyres with earth
or loads of rubble - whatever you have available locally...

use a photovoltaic solar panel to drive a fan to blow air through the storage medium, and operate a heat exchangeer to get waste heat

traditional Moorish heat management used chimneys to create an air flow and draw fresh air in over a humidifying courtyard fountain...

What Is Solar Thermal Energy?
We Have A Report Tomorrow And I Need Help...Badly! Thanks For Those Who Are Going To Give The Answer.

Solar thermal captures the heat from the sun. This can be used for:
solar cooking,
solar water heating,
solar air heating,
solar pool heating,,
or heating your whole house,

Solar thermal can also be used to generate electricity by concentrating the heat onto a tube with a fluid in it. The fluid heats so much it generates steam, which then powers a steam turbine, making electricity.

How Is Race Playing Such A Big Role In The Upcoming Elections?
I Do Watch The News And Yes I Have My Own Opinion On How Race And The Media Is Impacting The Upcoming Elections But What Do You Think? What Is Youre Biggest Concern ? What Key Issues Do You Believe Are Being Overlooked? Youre Comments Are Appreciated Thank You :]

I personally wouldn't care if Obama were black if it weren't such a big issue for everyone else - but by making it so everyone is going to be tiptoeing around the issue and trying very hard not to be called "Racist." That word can be the demise of a career - political or otherwise - if it sticks. Race is not so much an issue in this campaign as is Racism - Obama's carefully chosen words, "He will try to scare you ... did I mention that he's black?" really mean, "What is worse - the fact that I am black or that my opponent is a racist?" Very powerful political maneuver.

I have listened to talk radio on both sides of that proverbial "aisle" - NPR and "Sirius Left" on one side, and WABC, Fox News and "Sirius Patriot" on the other. Both engage in ridiculous jabs at "The Messiah" and "The Wrinkly White-Haired Guy" but it is the Left where I hear all the protestations about Race. They find Racisim where it does not exist, because Racism is a business in this country, and bears tremendous political clout. It is in their best interest to keep it alive.

After all the Race discussion and the "ad hominem" barbs, the Left-leaning radio hosts go back to their talking points of blaming Bush and the Republicans for everything; the Right-leaning radio hosts discuss the economy, the oil crisis, the war in Iraq and Foreign and Domestic policy. I listen and listen, but do not hear the same kind of discussion on the other stations.

Right or wrong, the forum is there - the discussions are open. Should we drill here in America? What do the American People want? Should we invest in Nuclear Energy? Solar Energy? All of the above? That's a question on the table. The answer? Turn off the lights and the cameras, and let's get outta here".

What about the war? The "Surge"? Did it work? Was it the right thing to do? Are things better in Iraq? Where do we go from here? McCain stands by his votes and his position, while Obama dodges the question and won't let himself be trapped into admitting that the so-called surge had a positive effect on the situation in Iraq.

In my own life, I cannot have a political discussion about issues with my Left-leaning friends without the discussion melting down to "Bush Sucks", which may or may not be true but, in terms of going forward, is irrelevant.

What Makes The Earth Tick?
I Have To Do A Paper On The Topic In The Title With The Focus On Energy Transfer That Drives Large-Scale Internal And External Global Processes On The Earth. However, I Do Not Understand What This Means. Can Anyone Please Shed Some Light On The Focus? My Professor Gave Us Links On Some Articles On The Following, Are They Related To The Focus Of The Paper?: * Sun'S Effect On The Atmosphere, The Water Cycle, Photosynthesis, Atmosphere, Ozone Layer And Formation Of The Solar System * The Force Of Gravity * Earth'S Interior And Its Effects On Plate Tectonics, Volcanism To Those Who Tell Me To Do My Own Homework, I Will. I Just Need To Clarify What &Quot;Energy Transfer That Drives Large-Scale Internal And External Global Processes On The Earth&Quot; Means.

Major internal source of energy in the earth is heat from radioactive decay. Essentially this is nuclear energy keeping the earth hot.

Major external source of energy for the earth is solar energy, which is also produced by a nuclear reaction called the Sun.

The third source of energy, that is internal to the earth, is what is called remnant energy. This is the energy left over from the heat contained in the particles that consolidated to create the earth. The kinetic energy of their collision also added to this remnant energy.

Without the radioactive decay of elements in the earth, the planet would be a ball of frozen ice. Solar and remnant energy are not enough to keep this planet warm and drive plate tectonics.
