What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c unit, cleaning clothing, watching TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a stress on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are substantial, many home owners discover that the benefit, special functions, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are much more alluring.

Top 10 Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Drastically decrease and even eliminate your electrical bills

Whether you're a homeowner, organization, or nonprofit, electricity expenses can make up a large part of your month-to-month expenditures. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll generate complimentary power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you consume, solar will decrease your utility bills and you'll still conserve a great deal of loan.

#2 Make a terrific return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns equaling those of more standard financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical energy bill cost savings, the typical American house owner pays off their solar panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure versus rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, property electricity costs have gone up by an average of 3 percent each year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and protect versus unforeseeable increases in electrical power expenses. If you're a service or property owner with ever-changing money flow, going solar also helps you better forecast and handle your expenditures.

#4 Boost your residential or commercial property value

Numerous studies have actually found that houses geared up with solar energy systems have higher residential or commercial property worths and offer faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more educated about solar, demand for homes equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial part of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to produce electricity from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from price fluctuations in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy

According to The Solar Structure, the solar market included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This growth is expected to continue. Because solar-related tasks have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable contributor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a terrific method to minimize your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably reduce that number. A common residential photovoltaic panel system will remove three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are necessary parts of an organization's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, consumers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding businesses that pick to run responsibly. Services are discovering that "green" qualifications are a powerful driver of customer buying decisions, producing goodwill and improving organisation results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Many house owners opt to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This suggests that a third-party company-- the solar supplier-- owns the solar system and looks after installation, upkeep, tracking and repairs. You simply pay the solar company for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility companies are notorious for their changing and unreliable electrical energy rates. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and basic math, we can compute how much electrical energy will be generated, and most importantly, at exactly what cost, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (fixed energy expenses).

Financing

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Are Solar Panels And Geothermal Energy Sources So Expensive?

Because they are not in high demand. People need to buy into it to drop the price.

How Do Solar Pannels Work?
I Dont Want A Link To A Website! Sorry To Be Blunt Lol :) I Have Tried To Go On Websites And Make Sense Of It But It Makes No Sense. Please Just Simplify Something For Me... But I Need The Question Answered In Full If Possible? X

There are two types of solar panels.

#1 is passive solar panels. Under a pane of glass (or plastic) is a long tube that runs back and forth. the tube is a flat black because flat (dull) black absorbs heat the best.
The heat of the sun is transferred from the hot pipe to the fluid in the pipe. the fluid is pumped down to a storage tank and the heat is stored in this tank.

#2 is active solar panel turns, the sun's radiation energy into electricity.
These are photovoltaic cells--
photovoltaic of, concerned with, or producing electric current or voltage caused by electromagnetic radiation, esp visible light from the sun.
Photovoltaics is the direct conversion of light into electricity at the atomic level. Some materials exhibit a property known as the photoelectric effect that causes them to absorb photons of light and release electrons. When these free electrons are captured, an electric current results that can be used as electricity.

How Can A Car That Runs On Solar Panels Help The Environment?
Other Than Not Polluting The Air

The technology has not yet been developed to have a practical car that's run 100% from solar power. For one thing, you wouldn't be able to drive it at night, which is a big concern for most people. It may be possible at some point in the future to have solar panels used to supplement a battery powered car, but I doubt you'll ever see a 100% solar powered car in public use.

Why Is My Air Conditioner Not Keeping My House Cool?
Ok Heres The Scoop. I Have 2 6 Ton Central Air Units Tied Into 32 Solar Panels (Keeps My Energy Bill Super Low Btw). Anyways My Home Is Only 1100 Sqft. So Only One Of These Should Keep My Home Cool But They Dont I Dont Get It. Their Are No Leaks In The Ductwork. I'Ve Had 3 Techs Come Out They All Said That Both Units Are Blowing Air Out The Vents At 52°. But My Temps Inside Wont Drop Below 80° During The Day. The Front Of My Home Faces Due West ( To Allow For Full Day Solar Power No Trees To Block Sun Accept On North And South Side Of House Maybe I Should Have My Insulation Checked To See If I Need Thicker Insulation Since My Home Recieves Full Sun All Day. Any Thoughts?

First off, I would check the settings to make sure that they are set right (I'm pretty sure you do, but make sure).

Also, have someone check the condition of the system. One or both of the units might have gone bad or the vent parts going through the house might have fallen apart. My house was supposed to have central air, but the guy who installed it didn't do a good job with the vent channels behind the walls and the upstairs doesn't get any. It would take ripping out my walls to fix it and that would cost a lot for me.

Also, don't forget the massive heat wave hitting the US lately, I have 3 air conditioners going in my house with 2 in the main living room area. My house is small, too, but they can barely keep the temp around 75. Chances are that central air systems are not having a lot of luck, either.

What Size Solar Panel Do I Need To Charge A Car Batt?
I Have Two 12V Gel Batteries That I Would Like To Take Camping With Me For Power. What Size Solar Panel I Need To Charge And Maintain These Batteries?

We kind of need the specs on the batteries to figure that out, but lets just say each battery is 125 AH (amp hours) so, 125AH+125AH=250AH, therefore, to charge those batteries in a reasonable amount of time, lets say 14 hours, you will need a panel that puts out around 250 watts. I would suggest using only 1 battery, because a 250 watt panel is not cheap!

You can however build your own panel, its fairly easy, if you have soldering skills.
