What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioning system, cleaning clothes, enjoying TV, cooking supper. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are considerable, lots of residents discover that the benefit, special features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Top Ten Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically reduce or perhaps eliminate your electric bills

Whether you're a property owner, business, or not-for-profit, electrical energy costs can make up a large portion of your month-to-month expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you take in, solar will decrease your utility costs and you'll still save a lot of loan.

#2 Make an excellent return on your investment

Solar panels aren't a cost-- they are among the finest methods to invest, with returns matching those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy bill savings, the typical American house owner settles their solar panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against increasing energy costs

Among the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, domestic electrical power costs have actually increased by an average of three percent yearly. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical power rate and safeguard against unpredictable boosts in electrical power costs. If you're a company or homeowner with rising and falling capital, going solar likewise assists you much better projection and handle your costs.

#4 Boost your home or business worth

Numerous research studies have discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher home worths and offer faster than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more educated about solar, need for properties geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy independence

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and an essential part of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electrical power from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from rate changes in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar market included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the country. This development is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related jobs have the tendency to be greater paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a fantastic method to minimize your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can considerably decrease that number. A normal domestic photovoltaic panel system will eliminate 3 to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are essential parts of an organization's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Significantly, consumers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding organisations that decide to operate responsibly. Organisations are discovering that "green" credentials are a powerful chauffeur of consumer acquiring decisions, creating goodwill and improving service outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous homeowners decide to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" financing choices. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar provider-- owns the planetary system and looks after installation, upkeep, tracking and repair works. You simply pay the solar service provider for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are infamous for their varying and undependable electrical energy costs. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and basic math, we can compute how much electricity will be produced, and most notably, at exactly what price, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy expenses).

Frequently Asked Questions

Suggest A Global Solution To The Energy Issue?
What Is The Best Way??? Please Leave Me An Educated Response

A combination of renewable energy will be required for a sustainable future. No one technology has the ability to meet all energy requirements. An effective combination of many technologies will be required to meet future energy demands. Each technology has it’s advantages and limitations, but together, they can solve the world energy crisis.

Cleaner alternatives include
- Hydroelectricity
- Wave power
- Solar energy
- Wind power
- Biofuel

Other alternatives such as nuclear can be used as a transitional technology to help our society move away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy. Clearly nuclear energy also has many concerns and is a limited resource, but technology can be used temporarily while we further develop more sustainable energy sources.

The key point is we need the combined effort of individual support and government support and funding. A combination of renewable energy sources can easily meet societies energy requirements if we invest enough research, time and capital into it.

The best way to regulate the effects of increasing energy consumption is through a combination of regulation, international agreement, and green res each and technology initiatives.

The introduction of tighter regulations for large industries and high energy users should be used to control and regulate energy consumption. Perhaps placing a tax or fees on excess consumption.

International agreements to reduce emissions. Such as the Kyoto Protocol. And international carbon trading schemes.

But most importantly, is the source of energy. If we invest in green research initiatives and prevent the production of dangerous pollutants, then rather than policing energy consumption, we can focus on more sustainable energy alternatives such as wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, etc.

No single method will be effective in controlling energy consumption. Rather, it will be a combination of policy changes and a societal & technological shift towards more sustainable alternatives.

Can We Use The Solar Energy With The Ups At Home?
I Have A 10002W Ups In Home. It Charges The Battery When 220V Light Is Available, When Loadsheding Starts It Give Backup From Battery. My Question Is That, Is It Possile To Charge Battery With Solar Pannel Not With 220V Electricity By Ups, But When Loadshedding Starts Ups Use The Battery. Basically I Want To Charge Batteries With Solar Energy And Use Then Automatically As Ups Works.

Solar will work, if you have enough power to over do the AC charger, or can disable it.

Depending on the UPS, it may not be safe, if it is a closed system where the battery circuit may be connected to the high voltage mains AC circuits.

Chemisty Help: Solar Energy Vs. Nuclear Energy?
For Each Question Answer For Both A Nuclear Power Plant (Not Fossil Fueled) And Solar Energy. 1.What Are The Fuel Sources? 2.How Is The Fuel Used To Produce/Release Energy? 3.What Are The Similarities In The Way They Produce Energy? 4.Are There Any Health Hazards Associated With The Way They Produce Energy? 5.Why Is Energy Released When The Nuclear Reactions Take Place? Talk About This Using Your Research On The Forces That Hold The Nucleus Of An Atom Together.

1.What are the fuel sources?
N:Plutonium, uranium
S:The sun

2.How is the fuel used to produce/release energy?
N:Uranium/plutonium go under a fission which causes atoms to split and make MASSIVE amounts of energy, which is used to boil water and spin turbines.
S:Absorb light photons, which causes electricity to form.

3.What are the similarities in the way they produce energy?
Their basically opposites.

4.Are there any health hazards associated with the way they produce energy?
N:Uranium is radioactive, and will continue to be radioactive for MANY MANY years. this can cause mutations, cancer, and death. Especially because there is waste and the waste has to be buried underground.
S:Nope

5.Why is energy released when the nuclear reactions take place? Talk about this using your research on the forces that hold the nucleus of an atom together.

Okay, so Atoms are held together strongly, right? Well, when they split it causes a bit of energy to do so, and the energy released is WAY more then that. This is also a chain reaction from the first atom splitting and hitting two more atoms and so on...

Question About Wind Power And Solar Energy?
So If We Were To Use Wind Or Solar Energy Does That Mean That It Will Be Free To Us As Citizens? We Wouldn'T Have To Pay Anything For Power? Thank You.

Not a chance. They are expensive to buy the machinery to make them work, and to add insult to injury, wind and solar farms in Scotland, England, Spain, Germany and other countries were paid to shut down for periods of time because of the operating problems of the wind and solar generation systems.

Shoots down the whole theory for free energy. I wish I could be paid to stay home and not work - wind and solar frams were, why not me??

Why Do You Consider Yourself Liberal Or Conservative?
This Is A Serious Question. I'M Curious To Know What Makes You Identify The Way You Do Politicaly... (A) Their Economic, Taxing, And Spending Strategies. (Flat Or Incremented Tax, Obamacare Or No Obamacare, Etc, Etc) (B) Their Foreign Policy (Drone Strikes Vs Military Presence) (C) The &Quot;Issues&Quot; (Gay Mariage, Marijuana, &Quot;Green&Quot; Energy, Etc, Etc) With The Issues I Am Going To Specifically Exclude Abortion. Most Conservatives (And A Few Liberals) That I Know That Consider Themselves Pro-Life Argue That Abortion Is Murder (They Aren'T Prolife Because They Don'T Like Women To Have Rights)

Actually I consider myself neither as I am conservative on certain issues, while being liberal on others.

Or as I like to call myself, "A Social Realist"

A - Taxes are something that is a needed evil in life. We want a government, we should all have to pay for it. I'm however one who believes in a flat tax as opposed to the horribly convoluted series of tax laws that seem like that they were designed TO get people to make auditable mistakes and force us to pay penalties. Either that or take the safe way out of it and only file a 1040EZ and not get back what they should get back.

Win-Win for Government either way.

Obamacare...I'm all for the concept of it as there are far too many people who can not afford health care and if there is anything that can be learned from the Healthcare System is that prevention is far cheaper than a cure in many cases. So these people *need* something, they need some way to be able to afford care while minor problems are still minor and to be able to help them not get buried in soul-crushing debt when something major happens.

Is Obamacare the best solution? Is it one that will work at all? Will it doom us all? I don't know one way or the other. I only know that as of right now it's the *only* plan on the table since no one else is willing to think of some other way to achieve the same goal.

B - Military action is military action. I'm all for drone strikes over military presence since that's less of our men and women being in harm's way.

BUT...only in a situation where we *really* need to be. The first gulf war was a good example. Some schmuck of a dictator decided that they were going to waltz next door and take over another country. Kuwait needed help and we provided. The second war and the ongoing struggles where we're currently @#$hole deep in alligators...I don't think we need to be there. And Syria? That's a situation where both sides are bat-[excrement] crazy and I don't think we should be involved unless the UN is willing to send other troops besides the US into the situation. *IF* they think action is needed, don't just send us and then admonish us for doing what we train our warriors to do.

C - Gay Marriage? Marriage as it has become in today's society is a legal agreement that can (but does not have to be) ratified by a religious personage. I have a civil union with my wife. We are married but no member of the clergy presided over it. It was a quick Justice of the Peace with a schlep to the Chinese Takeout place afterwards. So I'm all for allowing same-sex marriages, but am also for the freedom of the churches to decide if they want to preside over them. Gays have the right to marry, the individual churches should have the freedom of their religion to say "We don't agree with it." If a church doesn't want to do it, the same sex couple should be able to find another church that will or at the very least hit the strip at Vegas or do what we did and do a quick JoP jobber.

Weed? Legalize it. Not going into the usual arguments, I will say that it's getting less and less criminalized. Instead of being arrested for a joint in the car, you're more likely to simply get a court summons. They're not as adamant about going after it and if they're not wanting to arrest everyone with an ounce or less...they need to legalize it altogether.

Green Energy - I'm all for it. There is nothing out there (yet) that is the ultimate solution. BUT every thing we look into can ease our need for petroleum and coal. Our area put in a 5 megawatt solar farm. That's 5 megawatts less that the coal fired plant in our area needs to generate meaning that it uses less fuel. It's not much, a drop in the bucket...but like the bucket under a leaky roof, eventually that bucket gets filled.

Every little bit helps and may hold us over until we can finally develop the safe and clean fusion systems that is the staple of science fiction and that a ton of scientific institutes and egg heads are trying to make scientific reality.

So take all that as you will. I'm liberal on some issues, less so on others.
