What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to use the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioner, cleaning clothes, watching TV, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the ecological advantages of solar power are significant, numerous residents discover that the convenience, distinct functions, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are much more alluring.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

Solar panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the very best ways to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical power costs cost savings, the average American house owner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus rising energy costs

One of the most clear cut advantages of solar panels is the capability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, property electrical energy prices have actually gone up by approximately three percent yearly. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can fix your electricity rate and safeguard versus unpredictable increases in electrical energy expenses. If you're an organisation or homeowner with changing cash circulation, going solar likewise assists you better forecast and handle your expenses.

#4 Increase your home value

Multiple studies have actually found that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher property worths and offer quicker than non-solar houses. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, need for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial part of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to produce electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost fluctuations in global energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the country. This development is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related jobs tend to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable factor to the U.S. economy.

Solar is an excellent way to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can significantly reduce that number. A normal property solar panel system will get rid of 3 to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are essential elements of an organization's culture and values. They likewise produce bottom line results. Significantly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding businesses that opt to operate properly. Businesses are finding that "green" credentials are an effective chauffeur of consumer buying choices, creating goodwill and improving business results.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Lots of house owners decide to finance their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the solar system and takes care of installation, upkeep, tracking and repairs. You simply pay the solar company for electrical power-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The energy companies are notorious for their changing and unreliable electrical energy costs. There is clearly an upward trend.

Combined With Solar Panels On Your Roof....Can A Generator Power A Small House? Indefinately?
Hi! I Don'T Know Much About Generators. I Know That When I Was A Kid A Neighbour Had One For Blackouts And Things And That It Was Super Noisy......Are They Still Really Noisy? Can You Get One That Would Run A Small Household....A 3 Bed-One Floor House For A Conservative (Trying To Watch The Electric Useage) Houseold? What Do They Run On? Petrol? Or...? Because Every Winter Our Town Gets Super Storms And Constant Power Failures. And I Have To Resort To A Gas Camping Pilot And Torches And Candles...But Its Getting Harder The Bigger My Daughters Get. Any Info You Can Give Me Would Be Great. :)

First of all, let me advise you to spend a lot of time researching someplace besides Yahoo Answers. There are a lot of jerks here who will give you bad or just weird advice.

That said, I'm no jerk, and I'm fairly smart. So let's crack on:

There are small, emergency generators that are designed for temporary or remote use. They're usually portable, small enough to fit in the boot of a car with no difficulty. They won't run much: a few light bulbs, a TV or computer, maybe a small refrigerator. They WON'T run all those things at the same time. They run on petrol and can be had for as little as a few hundred dollars. For an example: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/p...

There are larger generators intended for remote use, like powering tools at a construction site where there is no mains power. These are more substantial and aren't easily moved about without a truck. Where the previous example was relatively small and is designed to be sorta quiet, these big fellows with their jobsite intentions aren't as carefully designed for quietness. So when they're fired up, they're pretty noisy. For an example: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/p... This one is about a thousand dollars, your local prices will probably be different.

The level beyond this is the permanently installed option. Before we were looking at devices that would simply sit outside your home, and you would run extension cords through a slightly-opened window to make things happen. Now we're into the residential standby generator which must be permanently installed. A licensed electrician will have to make some substantial alterations to your home's wiring to install the transfer switch and keep everything code compliant. When it's in place, the residential standby looks a bit like an air conditioner. When running it's louder than HVAC, but it's quieter than either of the previous two models. These are designed to run on the gas the utility company pipes to your house, so no stocking up on jerry cans of petrol is required. Don't forget to change the oil once in a while, though. For an example: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/p... This is the most expensive option and unlike the previous two, there are further costs to cover before you can use it.

As to solar, when there are storms there isn't much light. You'd have to have battery backups. Installing a battery solar electric system will cost tens of thousands of dollars to do the whole house. But for a budget, you could take one room off the power grid, separate its electric supplies from the others, and install a battery backup solar system that fed that for mere hundreds of dollars. Do it modestly: choose a bedroom and the bathroom to solarize. Don't worry about the refrigerator: if the power goes out in the middle of winter, just move the food outside in coolers. It's already cold out there, it'll be fine.

Sunpower Solar Panels?
Do Higher Watt Solar Panels Last Longer, Efficiency-Wise? 3 Installers Gave Me Quotes With 3 Different Sunpower Panels. The 225, 215, 210 Watt Panels. Whats The Con And Pro'S Of The Different Wattages?

There is no difference between them besides their rated output. One may physically fit on you roof better than another, or look better, although the physical difference between those sizes is minimal. Go with whichever installer you trust, and is preferably NABCEP certified, or working towards NABCEP certification. Get references. Don't believe just because someone is an electrician they know how to install solar electric, it's a whole different animal. Make sure they are trained in installing solar.

Is My Solar Panel Big Enough?
I Took Some Solar Yard Lights Apart And Put Them Together In A Series. I Was Told If You Take Amps Times Volts = Watts. Do You Test It With Ac Volt Or Dc Volts? I Tested Mine With Dc Volts And Got 41 Volts In Good Sun And Had My Meter Set On Ma Or Milliamps And Got .83 Which I Am Asuming That Is .83 Of One Amp Now I Took Those And Multiplied .83 Times 41 Volts To = 34.03 Watts. Is This Large Enough To Charge A Car Battery In A Day? And Doese It Make A Difference For Amps On How Fast It Charges Or Watts. I Also Was Looking Around And Found 30 Watt Panels But Had Higher Amps. I Am Very Interested In Building Solar Panels But I Realize I Dont Know What I Need To Do To Make Shur They Are Big Enough. My Panel Is Only 9Inch By 10 Inch. It Seems Weird That I Am Putting Out 41 Volts

A solar panel is a DC device, you so want DC voltage.

I don't think your panel is big enough: milliAmps are THOUSANDTHS of an amp, not hundredths. So 83 mA = 83/1000 = 0.083A, ie your power is 3.403 watts rather than 34.03 watts.

To get a 30W output in good sunlight you'll typically need a panel area that's equivalent to about about 50cm x 50cm.

Car batteries are apparently about 1kWh:
http://mb-soft.com/public2/storing.html

So even if you had 30W, you'd need to run it for 1000/30 = 33 hours in good sunlight. So it won't do a great job.

The reasons for the tiny output will probably be the small surface area (normally people cover whole roofs in solar panels and that way you get sensible power output), and because yard lights are cheap, so have cheap solar panels made from the cheapest amorphous silicon they can get their hands on - so they're not very efficient either!

How To Complete Latest Mission Of Club Penguin. How To Increase Light For Solar Panel. What Is Use Of Jet-Pack?
What Is The Use Of Jet-Pack,Balls,Table,Clothes

The jetpack you have to use instead of the solar power (if you want) okay, when Herbert is trying to grab the golden puffle statue, you put the jetpack behind the cage to make it capture Herbert. The table, the balls, and the clothes, you have to put the table outside of the gift shop and put the balls and clothes on it to get the award of helping him at the end of the game!

Hope this helps! ;)
