What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioner, cleaning clothing, enjoying TV, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological advantages of solar power are substantial, many homeowners find that the benefit, distinct features, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.

Top 10 Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Considerably reduce or even remove your electrical bills

Whether you're a house owner, business, or nonprofit, electrical energy costs can make up a big part of your monthly costs. With a solar panel system, you'll generate complimentary power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will decrease your energy costs and you'll still conserve a great deal of loan.

#2 Earn an excellent return on your investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they are among the finest ways to invest, with returns matching those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electricity bill savings, the average American homeowner settles their photovoltaic panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, residential electrical power rates have actually gone up by approximately three percent annually. By buying a solar energy system now, you can fix your electricity rate and safeguard against unpredictable boosts in electrical energy costs. If you're a business or homeowner with ever-changing money circulation, going solar also helps you better forecast and manage your expenditures.

#4 Increase your house value

Multiple research studies have discovered that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and sell quicker than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more educated about solar, need for homes equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial part of accomplishing energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to create electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost fluctuations in worldwide energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and assist your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar industry included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This growth is anticipated to continue. Since solar-related tasks have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable factor to the United States economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a terrific method to decrease your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A typical domestic photovoltaic panel system will eliminate three to four loads of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Demonstrate your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social duty are essential parts of an organization's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Progressively, consumers and neighborhoods are acknowledging and rewarding organisations that opt to run responsibly. Organisations are discovering that "green" credentials are a powerful driver of customer buying choices, developing goodwill and enhancing company results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Many house owners select to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This means that a third-party company-- the solar provider-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, maintenance, monitoring and repair works. You just pay the solar supplier for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American homes have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are well-known for their fluctuating and unreliable electrical energy costs. There is plainly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and easy math, we can calculate how much electrical energy will be created, and most notably, at exactly what price, for at least the next 20 years (fixed energy expenses).

Financing

  • Flexible end-of-term options, including system upgrade, lease extension, and free panel removal

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

  • We own the solar panel system
  • $0 down for installation
  • Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use

Purchase

We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.

What is the warranty?

The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.

Frequently Asked Questions

Would Iraq Be A Good Place For Solar Panels?
Would Iraq Be A Good Place For Solar Panels? I Saw On The News About How The Power Plants In Iraq Are All Screwed Up. I Thought Since It'S A Desert (Very Sunny Most Of The Time) That It Would Be A Perfect Place To Build A Couple Of Large Scale Solar Power Plants. I Realize Solar Power Doesn'T Work At Night, But It Seems To Me The Iraqis Mostly Need Electricity For Air Conditioning, Which Is During The Day So It Work Out Pretty Good. Anyone Agree Or Disagree?

That's a very good idea, and I'm sure it has been discussed by the United States government, but there are a few problems:

1. Iraq is NOT the safest place in the world right now; acts of vandalism to government projects are common

2. In order to be able to make enough solar plants to make a significant impact on the average Iraq citizen's bills, you would need a major investment. America's taxpayers don't want to pay for it, and Iraq's government is just barely holding itself together. There is no one willing to pay for it.

3. New technology = doubts and rumors. I doubt they have as many educational standards in Iraq right now as in the United States, the citizens might mistrust the new technology, because they might not know much about it.

I know every one of these factors can be rebuked, but they are factors to think about before making a decision.

How Do People Start Businesses?
I Was Reading An Article About How Someone Bought Land At 19 And Began A Solar Panel Business. My Question Is, How Do People Go About Doing This? For Example, Where Does One Get The Solar Panels For A Business Like This? They Don'T Just Order Them On Amazon. Where Do They Come From?

You can buy solar panels on ebay especially second hand ones.

Are just type in buy solar panels in google and wala.

You buy land.

Contact local authority and tell them you want to sell them the electricity and they send a few men round to wire you up to the grid and give advice and take it from ther

What Use It It To Buy Expensive Solar Panels When In A World Where Economy Is Scarce, Everyone Is Budgeting?
Seriously. We Have To Admit Some Of Us Are Cheapskates...Why Bother Buying Something So Expensive Then?

I agree with you that times are tough. And in fact, the solar business is taking a hit from it. People are reluctant to spend, not knowing if they will have a job next week. But the same argument applies to any other large purchase - car, refrigerator, remodeling, big TV.

Basically, it sucks to be poor. If I don't have the money to buy a car, I can't drive to Costco to pick things up cheap, and ultimately spend more over time. Super insulating my house would save energy costs ultimately, but if I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck, I have to just keep paying higher bills each month.

Solar panels won't be an economic win long-term for everyone, but even for those who would ultimately save money, the initial outlay is a blocker.

And of course, just because something is costs a lot doesn't mean it isn't a good deal. If someone was selling a pound of gold for $5000, I'd take it.

Solar Panel Questions...?
1. Do They Scratch Easily? How Do I Remove Snow From Them Without Scratching Them? 2. What Does The Upkeep Of Many Solar Panels Consist Of? I Want To Have My Electricity Completely Off Of The Grid. 3. Are All Solar Panels Made From The Same Material, Regardless Of Size?

anythign can be scratched/ruined/altered if not tended to properly.... remove the first biggest layer of snow and leave a lil under to try to see first if it melts away on its own (dpeendin what season of course) if not than get some luke warm water and soak the snow.... slosh it off with a rubber shovel or mop.broom whatever wont damage ur panels. anythign you take care of will last longer and take care of you....

and solar is expensive to put in and can be expensive to maintain . depends where you have most sun and depends how many resources you use, if you leave the tv on absent mindely all night and take 50 min showers or blast the heat with jsut on epathetic lil donwpour of rain instead of just BUNDLING UP like a alot of lazy *** ameicans and.or rich careless bastards of course youa re goign to be paying up and out of your asshhhhh-hooooo

and nooooo there are some different materials solar panels are made of, there is a main base/core they use but im sure there are AT MOST two...the rest is either glass or plastic! depends for what you want and how many , includign size.... good luck!!!! excuse my typos

Can Solar Panels Be Refurbished?
When Solar Panels Have Served Their Purpose, What Is Done With Them?

Solar water heating panels can be salvaged for the copper and aluminum in them.

Unless there's catastrophic damage, solar electric panels only weaken with time. Given that serious panels have a life of over 25 years, it's debatable whether anyone would want them after they've served their useful life, any more than someone would want a 386 computer from 1985 running at 16 MHz. The glass and metal could be recycled, but the acutal solar cells I think would be thrown away. Contemporary panels are made ROHS compliant with zero lead, so are not especially toxic.
