What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to use the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c unit, washing clothes, seeing TV, cooking dinner. All while lowering your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the ecological advantages of solar power are considerable, many property owners find that the benefit, special functions, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are even more attractive.

Top Ten Benefits of Solar Energy

#1 Dramatically lower or even eliminate your electric expenses

Whether you're a homeowner, company, or nonprofit, electrical power expenses can comprise a large portion of your regular monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll create complimentary power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you consume, solar will reduce your utility expenses and you'll still conserve a lot of money.

#2 Make a fantastic return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they're one of the very best methods to invest, with returns matching those of more standard financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy expense cost savings, the typical American house owner pays off their photovoltaic panel system in seven to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Protect against rising energy expenses

Among the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the past 10 years, domestic electricity prices have actually increased by an average of 3 percent annually. By purchasing a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and secure against unpredictable increases in electricity costs. If you're a service or house owner with ever-changing capital, going solar likewise helps you better forecast and manage your expenses.

#4 Increase your home worth

Multiple research studies have discovered that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher home values and sell more rapidly than non-solar houses. Appraisers are progressively taking solar setups into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more educated about solar, demand for properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial part of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to create electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from cost fluctuations in international energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and assist your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Structure, the solar market included tasks at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This development is expected to continue. Due to the fact that solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a substantial factor to the United States economy.

#7 Secure the environment

Solar is a great method to minimize your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can substantially reduce that number. A normal domestic solar panel system will get rid of 3 to four loads of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are necessary parts of an organization's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Significantly, customers and neighborhoods are recognizing and rewarding services that choose to operate responsibly. Organisations are finding that "green" qualifications are a powerful driver of consumer getting choices, creating goodwill and improving company results.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Many homeowners decide to finance their solar panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This suggests that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the solar system and takes care of installation, upkeep, tracking and repairs. You merely pay the solar company for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The energy business are well-known for their varying and unreliable electricity prices. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and simple mathematics, we can compute just how much electrical power will be created, and most significantly, at exactly what rate, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy costs).

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Knows The Following Solar Pv Panel?

Yes, this is BIPV solar panel which can be used as roof but can power electric power. In addition, the desity can be designed according requirement. The manufacturer is Himin solar co., Ltd

Can A Solar Panel Company Sell Carbon Credits?
I Am Looking To Rent Roof Space And Install My Own Solar Panels To Produce Power. Of Course The Power Will Be Sold To The Local Power Company, But I Am Wondering If I Can Sell Carbon Credits To Local Companies As Well. Does Anyone Have Any Info?

There are carbon brokers who specialize in trading carbon credits. Some states have higher rates than others. In the US, it is still not likely to be a profitable business model until they improve the Feed-In-Tariff policy. Some European countries are set up that it is a great way to make money. http://www.brokerscarbon.com/

Solar Panels Don'T Work When It'S Too Hot/Sunny?
Is This Fact True? - Its A Limitation To Solar Panels During Summer When It'S In Extremly Hot Countrie. I'Ve Heard It From My Science Teacher .. Please Give Detail If You Have Any And Any More Benefits/Limitations Is Welcomed .. Thank You :) !

Solar PV (photovoltaic) panels do indeed get less efficient when they heat up.

If you look at the I-V power curves on the spec sheet for these rooftop panels (PDF):

http://www.silikenusa.com/Resources/Docu...

you'll notice that they have different curves for different temperatures. But they do still produce power, certainly. I have an array on my roof, and it still manages to max out the inverter on a hot summer day. But I do notice that the top row, which is hotter due to heat rising from those below, consistently puts out a few less watts than the bottom row.

So more sun is certainly better; direct light is exactly what's needed. But hot panels due to poor air circulation or high ambient temperature does cut into efficiency.

(Solar thermal, of course, is a different story)

Why Are Solar Panels So Expensive? Isn'T That A Bad Thing?
Solar Panels Are So Expensive That People Are Not Buying Them, Because In The Long Run It Hurts Them Financially. Because Of The Expense, People Are Not Able To Go &Quot;Green&Quot;. Would'Nt It Be Smart To Make Them Less Expensive?

It would be smart, but they are very expensive to make, especially to make them big enough to produce enough electricity to light up a home or business

What Is Solar Energy Why Is It So Important Why Is It Good For Us?

Solar energy is obviously a continuous energy source as the sun is always shining. When compared to fossil fuel, which is non-renewable and pollutes, solar energy is the best alternative for energy sources. The problem at the moment is lack of efficiency as we have not been able to mimic photosynthesis to trap the energy in sunlight (photons) the way that plants have. However, research on photosynthetic solar panels is ongoing in New Zealand and should hopefully be available in coming years.
