What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for property owner to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your a/c, cleaning clothes, watching TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while reducing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a stress on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are substantial, lots of property owners discover that the benefit, unique functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more attractive.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly lower and even eliminate your electrical costs

Whether you're a homeowner, business, or nonprofit, electrical energy costs can make up a large portion of your monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you'll produce complimentary power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will decrease your energy costs and you'll still conserve a great deal of cash.

#2 Make an excellent return on your financial investment

Solar panels aren't a cost-- they are among the very best ways to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more traditional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electricity costs cost savings, the average American house owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure against increasing energy costs

One of the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility costs. In the previous 10 years, domestic electrical energy prices have increased by approximately 3 percent every year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical power rate and secure against unforeseeable increases in electrical energy costs. If you're a company or property owner with ever-changing capital, going solar likewise assists you much better forecast and manage your expenditures.

#4 Boost your home or business worth

Numerous studies have actually found that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher property values and offer more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more educated about solar, demand for residential or commercial properties geared up with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a crucial part of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to generate electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from cost fluctuations in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market included jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This growth is expected to continue. Because solar-related jobs have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Protect the environment

Solar is an excellent way to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are responsible for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can significantly decrease that number. A common domestic solar panel system will get rid of 3 to four heaps of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.

#8 Show your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and business social obligation are essential components of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, customers and communities are acknowledging and rewarding organisations that choose to run properly. Organisations are finding that "green" qualifications are an effective chauffeur of customer acquiring decisions, developing goodwill and improving company results.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.

Numerous property owners pick to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This means that a third-party company-- the solar service provider-- owns the planetary system and takes care of setup, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You simply pay the solar provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the energy company.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The energy business are well-known for their changing and unreliable electrical energy rates. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With solar panels and simple mathematics, we can calculate just how much electrical energy will be produced, and most notably, at exactly what price, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy costs).

Financing

What are the various payment options?

We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are 3 Ways A Plant And Solar Cell Are Similar And 3 Ways They Differ?
Please Describe Three Or More Ways In Which The Plant Cell And The Solar Cell Are Similar To Each Other, As Well As Three Or More Ways In Which They Are Different From Each Other.

1. They both use solar energy to carry out their tasks.
2. They both stay rooted in the same place.
3. They both help mankind.

1. Plant uses solar energy to bond chemicals (to create glucose), solar cell generates electricity.
2. Plant can grow towards the sunlight while solar cell cannot
3. Plant needs water and air to survive while solar cell does not.
4. Solar cell is man-made while the plant is not.

Sorry the answer is pretty bad :(

Which Is Better Tidal, Wind Or Solar Energy?
Ok So This Has Been Bothering Me For A While And I Can'T Seem To Find Any Good Resource Websites To Find The Answer. So Which Works Better? Please Give Me A Good Reason For Why That Works Better, Thanks!

It really depends on where you live, but under most circumstances Solar Energy would be the best bet.

The Sun shines everyday (except of course during certain seasons in certain places; this is the exception)

Wind may or may not blow everyday (except of course for specific areas where wind is more definitive)

What I did when I was trying to find a renewable resource to add supplemental energy to my home, was to monitor the weather and take a statistical analysis of what happened. Its a lot of work, but it is a lot of money to have a renewable energy source.

One website that I used during this process was:

http://www.wunderground.com/history/

This website will allow you monitor the average wind speeds in your area.

http://rredc.nrel.gov/solar/old_data/nsrdb/redbook/atlas/

This website will allow you to find information on the amount of solar radiation that your area gets.

Once you find out the averages for both, then find each of the forms of energy that fits into your budget and compare how much energy would be produced from each one.

That is the only way you could properly have a definitive answer to this question.

How Does Energy Consumption Affect The Environment?

Energy consumption means that energy must be produced. Unfortunatly we currently don't have a way to produce energy (for the masses) that does not have a negative impact on the environment. Coal Burining creates electricity but pollutes the air HEAVILY! Nuclear doesn't pollute the air but has storage issues. Oil and natural gas are cleaner but still produce carbons. Producing gasoline for cars also takes energy from power sources. Buring gas pollutes the air as well. Solar and wind energy do work but are currently not sustainable for our needs.

Why Is Solar Power The Best Course Of Energy?

Solar energy is the energy radiating form the sun that humans have learned to harness and use to power numerous things. You may have heard of solar panels for houses. These are panels that are used as a power source for houses as opposed to an electrical system. But a lot of houses use both.

The thing is solar energy is abundant. Why because the sun is always there and always giving off it's heat and energy. Once solar energy is converted it's uses are practically unlimited. Applications of solar energy include: space heating and cooling through solar architecture, potable water via distillation and disinfection, daylightingting, hot water, thermal energy for cooking, and high temperature process heat for industrial purposes.

How Much More Solar Energy Can Be Collected From A Helicopter Blade Than Cabin Mounted?

This is a fairly esoteric question. Are we to assume that the efficiency of the collectors is the same in both locations? Are we also to assume that there is no additional transmission losses for power moving from a rotating blade to the stationary body of the aircraft?

Then the first point would be which has the bigger area of solar cells. If we are also to assume that the area of both are approximately the same but the "body cells" are essentially vertical while the blade cells are essentially horizontal. Then the issue becomes which are most optimally aimed. At noon the horizontally mounted blades would be optimally aimed. At most other times of the day they would receive some light but would not be optimally aimed in two directions.

The vertical cells would be ineffective for more than ambient light on the "dark side" of the craft. If we then assume that the body cells would be doubled to account for this then we would also have to notice that at no time during the maximum insolation of the day are they optimally aimed. But by now we are so deep into assumptions it is going to be quite risky to hazard a guess about total exposure or percentages.
