What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

Even if you don't produce One Hundred Percent of the energy you take in, solar will lower your utility costs and you'll still conserve a lot of loan.

#2 Make a terrific return on your financial investment

Solar panels aren't a cost-- they're one of the finest methods to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to substantial electrical energy expense cost savings, the typical American property owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Secure against rising energy expenses

Among the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the ability to hedge energy costs. In the previous 10 years, property electrical energy prices have actually increased by approximately 3 percent yearly. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electricity rate and protect against unpredictable boosts in electrical energy costs. If you're a service or homeowner with rising and falling capital, going solar likewise assists you better forecast and handle your costs.

#4 Increase your house value

Numerous studies have discovered that houses geared up with solar energy systems have greater property values and offer more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are progressively taking solar setups into factor to consider as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers end up being more informed about solar, need for properties equipped with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Boost U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key element of attaining energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from cost changes in international energy markets.

#6 Develop jobs and help your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the nation. This development is expected to continue. Because solar-related tasks tend to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.

Solar purchase power agreements (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no money down.

Many homeowners select to fund their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This implies that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the planetary system and takes care of setup, upkeep, tracking and repair works. You simply pay the solar provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

As of June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment

The energy companies are well-known for their varying and undependable electrical energy rates. There is plainly an upward trend.

With solar panels and simple mathematics, we can compute what does it cost? electrical energy will be generated, and most notably, at what cost, for a minimum of the next 20 years (repaired energy costs).

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Anyone Know Where To Find/Purchase A Video Showing How To Make Your Own Solar Panels From Scratch?
I Do Not Want A Video Showing Where To Find Broken Ones And How To Put Them Together, As I Know How To Do This. I'M Looking For A Video That Walks You Through The Japanese Patent For Creating Solar Cells/Panels Using Screen Printing.

To make solar panels is definitely a big project even to those technically skilled. However, with mounting power bills and high purchase cost of manufactured solar kits, the idea of making your own panel is still tempting.

I just found this cool link. "Making Cheap, Inexpensive DIY Solar Panels at Home".

Someone Knows About Solar Panel?
Okay So My Teacher Is Trying To Install A Solar Panel But We Have A Problem We Don'T Know Where To Ground It Because It Will Be A Movil House. Guys Do You Have Any Ideas?

A Mobile home will have its frame grounded when connected to a standard electrical 'plug-in',
if it was built to current Codes.
If you plan to use that panel as the entire electrical system you'll need to ground the frame.
Vehicle systems, (frame grounded), are 12 Volt for a reason.
It would be unwise to use a separately derived 120V. system in that mobile home
if that frame's not grounded.
(That first step out on to the ground could be a 'lulu'.)

What Is Solar Energy And How Is It Used?
*Help?

Solar power is one of the most well-known renewable energy sources – among geothermal, hydropower, wave power, wind power, biomass and biofuel power. Solar energy can be used for day lighting, cooking, heating water or other fluids, distillation, disinfection, making saline water potable and high temperature process heating.

There are a variety of ways people can benefit from solar energy – and the first time it was widely used was in the 1890-s in the United States if America where solar water heaters were invented. The system represented a panel installed on the roofs of the house that provided the household with some energy, but as large deposits of oil and gas were discovered in the west of the US, and they appeared to be low-cost and available, solar water heaters fell into oblivion to be rediscovered many years later. With the humankind using fossil fuels at the unforeseen speed solar water heaters were bound to make a comeback, especially in the countries with a lot of sun available all the year round.

Solar technologies used nowadays can be divided into active and passive depending on the way they capture and convert sunlight. Active solar techniques are PV panels and solar thermal collectors. Solar thermal collectors are panels that can, for example, heat your swimming pool – all because of the water pipes under the surface – when the panel becomes hot, so do the pipes, and warmed water can then be used to take a shower or swim – whatever it is used for, its production costs nothing. Passive solar techniques may include orienting a building to the sun, choosing materials with certain thermal mass and designing spaces inside the house that provide for optimal air circulation.

Solar energy in building is used by orientating the house relative to the sun, making it more compact, including patterns of selective shading and choosing building materials with certain thermal mass (heat capacity of a material). Every house should also be tailored to a certain climate it’s going to be located in.

Making Your Own Home Solar Power Panels?
I Am Confused Over This Issue. There Are Multiple Companies Selling Information On How To Make Them For Cheap, But I Do Not Know Which One Is The Best. I Hear Mixed Reviews Some Saying These Homemade Ones Are Just As Good As The Professional And Others Saying They Will Not Produce The Same Power Or Will Break Easy Or Not Be Legal To Hook To The Grid And Other Various Things. I Also Am Not Sure If You Really Can Make Them For Cheap Because I Think You Might Still Need To Buy Energy Converters Or Other Ect. So I Hope Someone Here Can Give Me An Objective Answers From Real Knowledge Or Experience And Give Reasons And Not Just Answers So That I Can See For Myself Thanks!!!

Well if you are doing a direct comparison (i.e. power output per panel), homemade solar panels are not as good as professional one's, the materials used to make the panels themselves absorb much more energy over its surface area in a professionally made panel.

Having said that you can get good benefits from home made solar panels, once you have made one you only need to make another to increase the amount of power produced. The home made solar panel is allot cheaper to purchase, you could make 20 home made panels for the price of one production panel.

as for converters / storage, the DIY guides around the place show you how to assemble / source them cheaply

There is a review on the following site http://solarpowerdiy.info/

My hubby is a DIY nut and he has assembled and implemented two of these now, we use the energy produced more to supplement our power usage, he estimates we will save around 40% (we are pretty conservative with our energy usage though)

When you ask, will they break easy, that probably is more dependant on the workmanship of the handyman putting it together.

hope that helps :)
