What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for property owner to use the sun to power daily life: running your ac system, cleaning clothing, seeing TELEVISION, cooking supper. All while minimizing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the ecological benefits of solar power are substantial, many homeowners discover that the benefit, special functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are even more attractive.

Leading Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Drastically minimize or perhaps eliminate your electric costs

Whether you're a property owner, service, or not-for-profit, electrical power costs can comprise a large part of your monthly costs. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll create free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will lower your energy costs and you'll still conserve a lot of loan.

#2 Make a great return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't a cost-- they are among the very best methods to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electrical energy costs savings, the typical American property owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard against rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut advantages of photovoltaic panels is the ability to hedge utility rates. In the previous 10 years, residential electrical energy prices have gone up by approximately three percent annually. By buying a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and protect against unpredictable boosts in electrical energy costs. If you're a business or homeowner with fluctuating money flow, going solar likewise assists you better forecast and manage your expenditures.

#4 Boost your house value

Several studies have actually found that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and sell more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are progressively taking solar installations into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, demand for residential or commercial properties geared up with photovoltaic panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key element of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our nation from cost changes in worldwide energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and help your local economy

According to The Solar Foundation, the solar market added tasks at a rate almost 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This growth is expected to continue. Since solar-related jobs have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable factor to the United States economy.

#7 Protect the environment

Solar is a terrific method to decrease your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can significantly reduce that number. A normal property photovoltaic panel system will get rid of three to four tons of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Show your dedication to sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social obligation are essential components of an organization's culture and values. They also produce bottom line results. Progressively, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding companies that decide to operate properly. Services are finding that "green" qualifications are an effective driver of customer getting choices, developing goodwill and enhancing service outcomes.

#9 Start Saving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has actually made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no cash down.

Numerous property owners opt to finance their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" funding alternatives. This indicates that a third-party business-- the solar service provider-- owns the planetary system and takes care of installation, upkeep, monitoring and repairs. You merely pay the solar provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the energy business.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility business are well-known for their varying and undependable electricity rates. There is clearly an upward trend.

With photovoltaic panels and easy math, we can compute what does it cost? electricity will be generated, and most significantly, at exactly what price, for a minimum of the next 20 years (fixed energy costs).

Why Isnt Solar Energy Used To Heat Homes Anymore?

Because they cannot charge you for the energy you get from the sun. Oil, gas and electric companies make money by selling you their energy. Once you construct solar panels, your energy is now free. This is why solar power has been held back.

How Do I Repair A Pinhole Leak In The Copper Tubing Of A Solar Panel That I Use To Heat My Swimming Pool?

There are really only three routes you can go, all are really temporary fixes and I'll explain why in a min.
1/ You can cut the pipe, usuing a pip cutter, at the spot and solder in a coupling of the appropriate size. Whoever posted that you can't use a propane torch for this is incorrect. You can solder copper up to 1 1/2 inches, easily, with a normal porpane torch, if you know what you're doing.
2/ That old inner tube you have lying around, can be cut and have a patch doubled up, placed over the pin hole and use a gear clamp (hose clamp) to tighten and hold in place. Viola, home made saddle clamp. Add some goop if you want.
3/ Cut the pipe at the leak and use a rubber coupling sized accordingly. You'll be able to find these at a plumbing shop. It's just a rubber sleeve that fits over each end of cut pipe and is held in place by a hose clamp each side. It does the same job as a copper coupling, without the need to solder.
These are temp fixes, you'll soon be replacing that entire section of pipe. If you have a pin hole in one spot, the copper has been corroded enough, that it will likely let go in another spot soon.
Goop, that someone else posted in here, is fine for a small suction leak, this is a pressure leak, and it won't do the job for long, if at all by itself. You could use it in conjunction with the rubber patch however.
You may want to investigate why the copper corroded on you as well. Check your water chemistry at a local pool shop for free ( you water may be off balance and very agressive) and also have a look at how your sanitizer dispenser is plumbed in. It should have it's outlet in the return, AFTER all the pool equipment, including the solar. If not, little wonder you have an issue, it's dumping raw chlorine or bromine directly into some of the most sensitive areas of your plumbing. If you're dumping pucks in the skimmer, same thing. If it is a Larson's brominator, that was plumbed in as per the maual, re do it. The manual is wrong and they never got around to revising it.

Air Conditioner 125 Volt 15 Amps: How Many Solar Panels And Batteries To Run 24/7?
I Have A Cabin That Is Way Out In The Middle Of No Where, It Would Cost 1000'S Of Dollars To Get Power To It. If I Have A 8,000 Btu Air Conditioner That Runs On 125 Volts And 15 Amps (Or 1875 Watts) How Many Solar Panels Will I Need To Run This During The Day, Plus Charge The Batteries To Run It All Night? How Many Batteries Would I Need

OK, in addition to the solar panels, you wil need an inverter (DC to AC; 12V t0 120V) capable of delivering 20A continuously and as much as 40A for the compressor starting surge, and a fairly large battery bank capable of delivering something over 2000 watts continuously (losses in the charging and conversion process) as well as the surge.

So, if your actual demand is now calculated around 2000 watt/hour, and you need to both run the unit and charge batteries during the daylight hours - and considering that the ideal charging rate for a lead-acid battery is on the order of 10% of its capacity, you will need a huge reserve on the battery section and a huge excess on the solar section to make up for the 5 hours maximum input.

So, the average high-quality deep-discharge battery will do about 400Ah @ 12.6V. Which comes to 5040 watts for one hour. For round figures, it will give you 2000 watts for 2.5 hours. You will need a minimum of eight of them just to make your system run for the 19 hours you are anticipating. Given that you do not want to run the batteries to zero each night, a 50% reserve would be a wise investment - comes to now twelve (12) batteries.

Now, you will have to make 2000 watts (to run the unit) and also produce and another 8600 (per hour for five hours) watts to charge the batteries for the next night. Again, for round figures, you will need 10,000 watts of solar power, or seventy (70) panels.

At ~10 watts/s.f. (100 watts/meter), that comes to about 1000 square feet or 100 square meters. Modern non-crystaline panels may reduce this by 20%, or so but no more than that.

You will be charging the batteries at roughly 20% of their discharge capacity - which will pretty much cut their service live in half, or so. As the average deep-discharge battery has about an 8-year life span under ideal conditions (and your situation will be far from ideal) you may expect to replace them every four years or so with good care. Much less with no care.

Cell Organelles As A School?
How Would Cell Wall, Cell Membrane, Nucleus, Nucleolus, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Chloroplasts, Mitochondria, Ribosomes, Golgi Apparatus, Cytoplasm, And Vacuoles Be Described As A School. Example Like The Nucleus Could Be The Principal Or Superintendent. Thanks So Much!

Okay...

Cell membrane - the school boundaries where you can't pass without permission, like a classroom door (like diffusion).

Cell wall - more rigid in structure, like walls instead of a door you could open.

Nucleolus- this is the center of the nucleus and where transcription take place, so it can be related to superintendents as opposed to the nucleus which would be more a principal.

ER - protein synthesis, among other functions - could equate this to student filing into the cafeteria line getting what they need (food). And traveling out.

Golgi - packages proteins - maybe for students who run errands between teachers and fetch things, or mailmen who deliver packages/ supplies to the school

Ribosomes - site of protein synthesis - report cards/ grading - that's where it makes you or breaks you. Getting a test back; it's a source of energy whether it's stress or anxiety. Something is synthesizing!

Vacuoles - water - water fountain

Cytoplasm- the insides like hallways and such, where things can pass and get where they need to go. Thruways, if you will.

Mitochondria - ATP and energy! Gym class and pumping iron or anything sports related. The football team, etc.

Chloroplasts - convert light energy into chemical energy; if the school has solar panels it would relate. Or even conversion charts and scales you would find in school since it turns one unit of measure into another easier unit of measure.
