About Solar Energy
Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.
Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.
Solar power makes it possible for home owners to utilize the sun to power everyday life: running your air conditioner, washing clothing, enjoying TV, cooking supper. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a pressure on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are considerable, many homeowners discover that the benefit, unique functions, and expense savings of owning a solar power system are even more alluring.
Top Ten Advantages of Solar Energy
#1 Dramatically lower and even eliminate your electrical expenses
Whether you're a property owner, service, or not-for-profit, electrical power costs can make up a big portion of your month-to-month costs. With a solar panel system, you'll generate free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you take in, solar will reduce your utility expenses and you'll still conserve a lot of loan.
#2 Earn a terrific return on your financial investment
Solar panels aren't an expense-- they're one of the very best methods to invest, with returns equaling those of more standard financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to considerable electricity bill cost savings, the average American property owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in seven to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.
#3 Protect versus increasing energy costs
Among the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge energy prices. In the previous ten years, domestic electrical energy rates have increased by an average of three percent every year. By buying a solar energy system now, you can fix your electrical energy rate and safeguard versus unforeseeable boosts in electricity expenses. If you're a company or house owner with ever-changing capital, going solar likewise helps you much better forecast and handle your expenditures.
#4 Increase your house value
Numerous research studies have actually discovered that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater residential or commercial property values and sell more quickly than non-solar houses. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar setups into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers end up being more educated about solar, need for homes equipped with solar panel systems will continue to grow.
#5 Increase U.S. energy independence
The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key element of accomplishing energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to produce electrical power from the sun, we can also insulate our nation from price variations in worldwide energy markets.
#6 Create jobs and help your regional economy
Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry included jobs at a rate almost 12 times faster than the general U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the nation. This development is anticipated to continue. Because solar-related jobs have the tendency to be higher paying and can not be contracted out, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.
#7 Protect the environment
Solar is an excellent method to lower your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can substantially decrease that number. A normal residential solar panel system will get rid of 3 to four tons of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees each year.
#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability
Sustainability and corporate social obligation are essential parts of a company's culture and worths. They also produce bottom line results. Increasingly, customers and neighborhoods are acknowledging and rewarding businesses that select to run properly. Services are discovering that "green" credentials are a powerful motorist of customer getting decisions, producing goodwill and enhancing business results.
#9 Start Conserving from Day 1
Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for homeowners to go solar for little or no cash down.
Many property owners decide to finance their solar panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding choices. This indicates that a third-party business-- the solar supplier-- owns the solar system and takes care of setup, maintenance, tracking and repairs. You just pay the solar provider for electricity-- less than you would've paid the utility business.
Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.
#10. Solar is a Secure Investment
The utility business are infamous for their fluctuating and undependable electrical power rates. There is clearly an upward trend.
With solar panels and easy math, we can determine what does it cost? electrical power will be produced, and most importantly, at what price, for a minimum of the next Twenty Years (repaired energy expenses).
What are the various payment options?
We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.
- Low, fixed payments each month

- Flexible end-of-term options, including system upgrade, lease extension, and free panel removal
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
- We own the solar panel system
- $0 down for installation
- Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use
- Customer pays for the system upfront and owns the system
- System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
- Receive 30% federal tax credit
- See a return on investment within 7-10 years
What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?
We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.
What is the warranty?
The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.
Frequently Asked Questions
Solar Energy≫ If We Went Back To Solar Energy Would That Allow Us To Have A Reconection With Spirts.?
From What I Think, Artificial Energy As In The Energy That Comes From Fossil Fuels And So On Broke Our Connection With The Spirt World, Because It Is Falsified And Not Coming From The Infinite Source Of Energy That Comes From The Sun The Universe And Outer Space.
I don't think it would cause us to go back to the old gods, no. I do think that if everyone had their own solar energy devices that we would become more aware of our enviorment and possibly more concerned with preserving it.
I live in a remote area where I provide all my own utilities with the exception of electricity. Being self reliant tends to make a person more aware of their environment. For example I attempt to manage my land to produce adequate wood to assist me in heating my house. If I just turned on a thermostat like most people do, I would never think about where that heat was coming from.

Is Solar Energy A Renewable Source?
Without The Sun Will We Be Able To Survive Why Or Why Not?
How Can We Use Solar Energy?

How Can We Save Solar Energy?
The sun has produced energy for billions of years. Solar energy is the solar radiation that reaches the earth.
Solar energy can be converted directly or indirectly into other forms of energy, such as heat and electricity. The major drawbacks (problems, or issues to overcome) of solar energy are: (1) the intermittent and variable manner in which it arrives at the earth's surface and, (2) the large area required to collect it at a useful rate.
Solar energy is used for heating water for domestic use, space heating of buildings, drying agricultural products, and generating electrical energy.
In the 1830s, the British astronomer John Herschel used a solar collector box to cook food during an expedition to Africa. Now, people are trying to use the sun's energy for lots of things.
Electric utilities are trying photovoltaics, a process by which solar energy is converted directly to electricity. Electricity can be produced directly from solar energy using photovoltaic devices or indirectly from steam generators using solar thermal collectors to heat a working fluid.
Out of the 14 known solar electric generating units operating in the US at the end of 2004, 10 of these are in California, and 4 in Arizona. No statistics are being collected on solar plants that produce less than 1 megawatt of electricity, so there may be smaller solar plants in a number of other states.
What Types Of Energy (E.G Tidal, Solar, Wind) Dont Use The Sun, I Need Three, I'M Told That There Only Is Three????
Also Any Info About Nuclear Energy(How It Is Made) Would Be Useful Aswell
:) :) :) :) Thanks
all renewable energy is caused from the sun. Without sun there would be no solar, and there would be no wind or tidal as the sun causes all life on earth so without it there would be no anything.
Only nonrenewable energy sources are not run by sun, such as burning coal or oil.
I should probably say now that renewable energy is energy that will always be around (solar, wind ect) or that can replenish itself before it is all used, like timber.
Non renewable energy is energy that will eventually run out. This is mainly fossil fuels. Coal and oil take millions of years to be created from fossilized products like plant and animal material. This is then buried underground from erosion or other natural ways. It is pressurized and turns to coal, or turns to oil. Because of the millions of years underground, there is high carbon levels in the energy sources, so when they are burnt cause lots of carbon to be released and heat to be emitted, causing the power plants to run. As your question doesn't ask about that I wont explain it because you probably don't want to know, and I want to stay on topic.
I hope I helped to explain a little and I hope you can see the difference in the energy sources and which would rely on the sun. Once knowing this basic information it is easy to tell which energy sources need the sun.
How To Convert Solar Energy To Electrical Energy ?
There are two ways to convert solar radiation to electricity - directly, with a solid state device that absorbs photons and releases electrons, and indirectly, by absorbing the solar energy in some other way and using the heat to do the work of producing electricity "conventionally".)
Solar energy is delivered mostly as visible light, so a medium that can absorb photons at most visible wavelengths would be best. This does not yet exist: neither plants nor engineers have developed such a medium. In addition, direct conversion is possible only during the period that the site is in daylight, so a mechanism for storing energy to operate "in the dark" is required for the sun to provide "base load" power.
Solar thermal systems can store energy, but no commercial system has been demonstrated that can collect solar energy by day, continue to use it overnight, and have enough left at daybreak to carry on until solar input picks up again. Otherwise, a solar turbine would work like any steam turbine - the stored heat is used to make steam, the steam turns the generator, there is your electricity. The trick is collecting and storing enough heat to make the steam pressure required to generate electricity. Research on this is underway.
Which Type Of Energy Is Better?
Which Energy Source Is Better, Wind Energy Or Solar Energy, And Why?
wind or sun, they both produce similar
but i think that solar is cleaner energy
