About Solar Energy
Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.
Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.
Solar power makes it possible for home owners to use the sun to power daily life: running your ac system, washing clothes, enjoying TELEVISION, cooking dinner. All while lowering your carbon footprint, and without burning nonrenewable fuel sources or putting a stress on the electrical grid. And while the ecological advantages of solar power are considerable, numerous homeowners find that the convenience, special functions, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are much more attractive.
Top 10 Benefits of Solar Energy
#1 Considerably minimize and even remove your electric bills
Whether you're a homeowner, organization, or nonprofit, electricity expenses can comprise a large part of your month-to-month costs. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll produce free power for your system's whole 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don't produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will lower your energy bills and you'll still conserve a lot of loan.
#2 Earn an excellent return on your investment
Photovoltaic panels aren't an expense-- they're one of the best ways to invest, with returns measuring up to those of more conventional financial investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical energy bill savings, the typical American house owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to eight years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.
#3 Secure against rising energy expenses
Among the most clear cut benefits of solar panels is the capability to hedge utility rates. In the previous 10 years, property electricity rates have gone up by an average of 3 percent annually. By buying a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and safeguard versus unpredictable increases in electrical power expenses. If you're a business or homeowner with rising and falling money circulation, going solar likewise helps you better forecast and manage your expenditures.
#4 Increase your home or business value
Numerous studies have found that homes geared up with solar energy systems have greater property worths and sell more rapidly than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value houses at the time of a sale, and as property buyers become more informed about solar, need for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.
#5 Boost U.S. energy independence
The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and an essential element of accomplishing energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to produce electrical power from the sun, we can likewise insulate our country from cost fluctuations in international energy markets.
#6 Create jobs and assist your local economy
According to The Solar Structure, the solar market added jobs at a rate nearly 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all jobs in the country. This development is expected to continue. Because solar-related tasks have the tendency to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a considerable factor to the United States economy.
#7 Protect the environment
Solar is a terrific method to minimize your carbon footprint. Buildings are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the United States, and going solar can significantly decrease that number. A normal residential photovoltaic panel system will get rid of 3 to four heaps of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.
#8 Show your dedication to sustainability
Sustainability and corporate social duty are essential elements of a company's culture and values. They also produce bottom line outcomes. Increasingly, customers and neighborhoods are acknowledging and rewarding companies that decide to operate responsibly. Companies are finding that "green" qualifications are a powerful chauffeur of customer purchasing decisions, developing goodwill and improving service results.
#9 Start Saving from Day 1
Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for property owners to go solar for little or no loan down.
Many property owners opt to finance their photovoltaic panels with among the "pay-as-you-go" funding options. This suggests that a third-party business-- the solar company-- owns the solar system and looks after setup, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You merely pay the solar supplier for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.
Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.
#10. Solar is a Secure Financial investment
The energy companies are infamous for their fluctuating and undependable electrical power prices. There is plainly an upward pattern.
With photovoltaic panels and simple math, we can determine how much electrical energy will be generated, and most importantly, at what price, for at least the next 20 years (fixed energy costs).
What are the various payment options?
We have many flexible purchasing agreements for customers who would like to install a new home solar system. There are three different payment options, making them a viable choice for customers of all budgets. The payment options include Lease, PPA, and Purchase.
- Low, fixed payments each month
- System insurance for 20 years, including maintenance
- Flexible end-of-term options, including system upgrade, lease extension, and free panel removal
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
- We own the solar panel system
- $0 down for installation
- Customers only pay for the solar energy that they use
- Customer pays for the system upfront and owns the system
- System monitoring and maintenance for 20 years
- Receive 30% federal tax credit
- See a return on investment within 7-10 years
What happens when the contract for my lease is finished?
We provide our customers with a few different options for when their lease contract is up. Customers can upgrade their equipment to the newest solar technology available, extend the agreement, or have the panels removed at no cost.
What is the warranty?
The Lease and PPA include a 20-year warranty during the lifetime of the system. This warranty exceeds that of most other solar installers’ warranties.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Renewable Energy Good For The Enverment? And Why?
We Need To Find 3 Way That Renewable Energy Is Good For The Enverment, And We Need 3 Example Too. So Can You Help Me. Plus I Can't Find It In The Internet. Me And My Friends Look Every Where.
If handled correctly, renewables are great for the environment. What really needs to be done is reduce pollution. Hydro, geothermal, wind and solar do not produce pollution as such but manufacturing some of the equipment used, building the facilities and other associated upfront items do. Biomass also produces pollution, sometimes more than equivalent hydrocarbon.

What About Solar Power?
How Is Solar Energy An Advantage? How Much Does It Cost? How Much Energy Does It Save? What Are The Disadvantages? Etc. Any Info Is Welcome!
Please List Sources Or Don'T Answer! :)
I live in Arizona where the sun shines almost every day. It is one of the most desirable areas in the world for solar power. Very few people use it. Why? It is much more expensive. Our cost for grid power is about 10 cents per kilowatt-hour.
Here is actual FACTS. Our utility companies and state are offering a huge incentive for people to go solar. For an average size house I can get a $24,000 system for $12,000 with rebates and tax incentives. Sounds great, doesn't it. It says I will save 14% on my electric bill, and the system will pay for itself in about 20 years. Then I read the warranty and expected life of the equipment and all of it will probably not last over 20 years. That means it basically will never pay off.
This is for a system in the deserts of Arizona where the sun shines about 350 days a year!
Don't listen to these so called "Environmentalists". Get the facts. Don't believe any salesmen for solar systems. They lie like car salesmen. Get the facts.
I love solar. I am an engineer and have studied and worked on stand alone systems many times. I think solar is great. I just hate it when "Environmentalists" constantly overstate its capabilities and cost effectiveness. Think of it this way. One solar panel that cost $300-$600 will provide enough power to burn one large light bulb (100-150 watts) about 10 hours a day if the sun shines that much. If you live where it rains a lot, it will produce nothing many days of the year.
What Are Some Examples Of Space Weather And How Do The Properties Of These Events Affect Earth?
Please, Please,Please! Small Short Answers, (1 Paragraph At Most).
Appreciate It! :)
Space weather is the concept of changing environmental conditions in near-Earth space or the space from the Sun's atmosphere to the Earth's atmosphere. It is distinct from the concept of weather within the Earth's planetary atmosphere (troposphere and stratosphere). Space weather is the description of changes in the ambient plasma, magnetic fields, radiation and other matter in space. Much of space weather is driven by energy carried through interplanetary space by the solar wind from regions near the surface of the Sun and the Sun's atmosphere (chromosphere and corona)
Can Solar Energy Be Used As An Explosive?
When I Say An Explosive, I Mean An Explosive The Size Of A Nuke Or Bigger.
well it is possible but a) it takes a shitload of time
b) it takes a shitload of resources
c) no one would let you try it. And you need some superhardened (hardened to the point where no hardening is further possible through any methods) metal to contain the pressure as it builds. Honestly, you're better off with nukes or antimatter bombs
What About Energy Policies? Mccain Wants To Drill Off Land And Open Nuclear Power Plants While We Have...?
Technology For Other Energy Sources Such As Cars Run By Air Or Natural Gases. Why Don't We Take Advantage Of Those That Are Readily Available To Us Domestically, Yet We Are Forced To Buy Foreign Thru Oil Industries Who Are Having Sex And Doing Drugs With The Republicans?
i will never understand why anyone talks about nuclear plants when we have 1000's of dams that have yet to be converted to hydroelectric at a fraction of the cost... i am a big fan of nuclear as it is an awesome fuel and can be safe but why even hassle with the opposition when all this water power is around?
oil companies are controlling us - otherwise ethanol would be 100% instead of 85% and NOT sold by gas companies who jack prices AND otherwise natural gas cars would have been pushed and subsidized...
CNG is 100% USA & about HALF the cost of gasoline which means it has always been USA and cheaper than gas for a long time & yet only ONE non commercial vehicle was ever made (although for a few years) & even then it was made by foreign car company... hmmmm eliminate import tax on the import that burns usa fuel?? Nah, lets instead give USA car company tax break so it can buy most parts from outside usa & then burn mostly non usa fuel - tell me that was not decided on by someone who was swayed by $$$$ in their pocket.
new drilling in alaska or offshore will not be at the pump until 2014!!!! FACT!!!! so why whine about more USA drilling which will not even make a dent for 5 years and then only sustains the addiction??
i truly believe we should pass law regulating power source for vehicles with ultimate result of 10 years from now 100% of new cars fueled by anything but gas or maybe even 80% and 20% diesel.. it would graduate starting at 10% first year and increase each year after... we have lots of alternatives and should let them compete.... another thing that really irks me is all the "clean coal" ads and statements... how stupid are we!?!?!?! we need to phase coal out... why is it even an issue when there are all these other cleaner 100% USA alternatives wind, water, solar, & yes even nuclear despite problems with waste dispossal although I believe if we increase site footprints then storage at each site could easily be economical, safe, and practical for 100's of years which would hopefully yield better technology for disposal & one thing we have extra of in usa is land... we must just be sheep, baaaaaaaaa, guess we will know novemeber 4th if we are braindead sheep who follow and believe whatever we are told or can think for ourselves
