What Our Customers are Saying

"We found all of the employees with whom we in contact from the sales representative to the installers to be knowledgeable and professional. All our questions were answered satisfactorily which is why we decided panels installed. We were also impressed with the company’s A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.” – Pat S. – Boston

"Our first two bills were approximately $300.00 less than before and our third bill, just received was down about $250.00 from what we were paying! We think it is fantastic!" - William R. - Waltham MA

"They did a wonderful job on my system and I would recommend them to my family and friends!" - Georg S. - Chicopee MA

I cannot express my gratitude for going forward with solar panels. From the initial meeting to discuss the possibility to the techs who eventually installed them. But most of all, it is the savings we have experienced. That first month was unbelievable. Solar plus our other electric source combined was less than our usual monthly expense. During the summer when our electric usage is higher because of the air conditioning, our monthly expense was still less than what we have paid with past summer usage. And if that’s not enough…our present electricity is primarily supplied by the solar panels. We have been building up a reserve with our other electricity source and will be able to draw from that all winter when our panels wont’t generate as much electricity. It’s a win-win situation that we’re just thrilled over. Having a fixed rate locked in is another great feature for savings.” – Virgil T. – Westport MA

About Solar Energy

Solar power is energy from the sun that is transformed into thermal or electrical energy.

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable resource source available, and the United States has some of the richest solar resources worldwide. Modern innovation can harness this energy for a variety of usages, consisting of producing electricity, supplying light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial usage.

Solar Benefits

Solar power makes it possible for homeowner to utilize the sun to power daily life: running your air conditioner, cleaning clothing, enjoying TV, cooking dinner. All while decreasing your carbon footprint, and without burning fossil fuels or putting a strain on the electrical grid. And while the environmental benefits of solar power are substantial, lots of property owners find that the benefit, unique features, and cost savings of owning a solar power system are a lot more alluring.

Top 10 Advantages of Solar Energy

#1 Significantly reduce and even remove your electrical costs

Whether you're a homeowner, business, or not-for-profit, electrical power costs can make up a large part of your regular monthly expenses. With a photovoltaic panel system, you'll create totally free power for your system's entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you do not produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar will reduce your energy costs and you'll still save a lot of money.

#2 Make a great return on your financial investment

Photovoltaic panels aren't an expenditure-- they're one of the very best methods to invest, with returns equaling those of more standard investments like stocks and bonds. Thanks to significant electrical power costs cost savings, the typical American property owner settles their photovoltaic panel system in 7 to 8 years and sees an ROI of 20 percent or more.

#3 Safeguard versus rising energy expenses

One of the most clear cut benefits of photovoltaic panels is the capability to hedge energy prices. In the previous ten years, property electrical energy rates have actually increased by approximately 3 percent every year. By investing in a solar energy system now, you can repair your electrical energy rate and secure against unforeseeable boosts in electrical power expenses. If you're a company or house owner with fluctuating cash circulation, going solar also helps you much better forecast and handle your costs.

#4 Boost your home or business worth

Numerous research studies have discovered that houses equipped with solar energy systems have greater property values and sell faster than non-solar homes. Appraisers are significantly taking solar setups into consideration as they value homes at the time of a sale, and as homebuyers become more informed about solar, demand for homes geared up with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

#5 Increase U.S. energy self-reliance

The sun is a near-infinite source of energy and a key component of attaining energy self-reliance in the United States. By increasing our capability to generate electrical energy from the sun, we can also insulate our country from price changes in international energy markets.

#6 Create jobs and assist your regional economy

Inning accordance with The Solar Foundation, the solar industry included tasks at a rate almost 12 times faster than the total U.S. economy in 2015, representing 1.2 percent of all tasks in the country. This development is expected to continue. Since solar-related tasks tend to be greater paying and can not be outsourced, they are a significant factor to the U.S. economy.

#7 Safeguard the environment

Solar is a fantastic way to minimize your carbon footprint. Structures are accountable for 38 percent of all carbon emissions in the U.S., and going solar can considerably decrease that number. A normal property photovoltaic panel system will get rid of three to 4 lots of carbon emissions each year-- the equivalent of planting over 100 trees every year.

#8 Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability

Sustainability and business social obligation are very important components of a company's culture and worths. They likewise produce bottom line outcomes. Increasingly, consumers and communities are recognizing and rewarding businesses that opt to operate responsibly. Organisations are discovering that "green" qualifications are an effective driver of consumer acquiring choices, developing goodwill and enhancing organisation outcomes.

#9 Start Conserving from Day 1

Solar purchase power contracts (PPAs) and solar leasing has made it possible for house owners to go solar for little or no money down.

Lots of property owners select to finance their photovoltaic panels with one of the "pay-as-you-go" financing alternatives. This indicates that a third-party company-- the solar service provider-- owns the solar system and looks after installation, maintenance, monitoring and repairs. You just pay the solar service provider for electrical energy-- less than you would've paid the utility company.

Since June 2013, 75% of all American houses have access to pay-as-you-go solar.

#10. Solar is a Secure Investment

The utility companies are notorious for their changing and undependable electrical energy costs. There is clearly an upward pattern.

With photovoltaic panels and basic mathematics, we can compute how much electricity will be created, and most notably, at what price, for at least the next Twenty Years (fixed energy expenses).

Financing

Frequently Asked Questions

How Is Drilling For Oil Damaging To The Environment?
I Care About Keeping The Environment But I Know We Need Oil And At The Same Time I Think We Should Look Into Electricity And Solar And Wind And Coal. I Know There Are Ways To Drill On Land That Doesn'T Damage The Environment. I Just Want To Know How It'S Done? How Is Drilling Bad To The World? How Can We Drill With Caution? What Are The Different Ways And Why Doesn'T The Oil Companys Use These Methods To Be Green? I'D Like Done Facts From Both Sides And Storys About How Bad Oil Companys Are To The Environment And How They Mistreat There Workers. Thank You And Please Try Hard Not To Use The Bp Oil Spill Story.

There is simply NO way to drill risk free. Even the most sophisticated and carefully thought out regulations are still subject to human error and chance.

The companies that drill constantly fight or even violate regulations that would at least reduce risk in order to save money, both to increase their own profit and since any more money spent would be passed onto the customer in the form of higher prices/taxes

Drilling for oil creates pollution in two ways, the most prevalent being air pollution and smog through the burning of fossil fuels. This leads to climate change, disrupted weather patterns and such.

The second and far more devastating are oil spills (like the one in the gulf) the natural chemicals in crude oil destroy any life it touches, sticks to plant and animal life, seeps into soil, contaminates water and can affect the food chain all the way up.

The only way to truly eliminate the risk of oil drilling is to use less of it and begin changing over our energy methods to cleaner technologies such as solar, wind, hydrogen, or hydroelectric

How Is Solar Powered Energy Used In The North ?
First Of All I Need Help In My Science Project. :| And Second Of All Im Just Wondering That In Like Northern Parts Of The World How Is Solar Powered Energy Efficeint And How Excatly Does It Work ?

Well, it depends how far North you are talking. If you are talking about Alaska, the solar energy would be absorbed during the months when Alaska is in total light. Since the sun is not as strong in Alaska as it is in other places of the world, the energy would take longer to be absorbed at times, but it would still be collected. Believe it or not, even when it is cloudy outside in places, solar energy is still collected.

Do All Solar Powered Calculators Store Energy?
I Have A Calculator That Only Works With Light, But Another Solar Powered One That Works Without Light. Whats Could Be The Problem

The one that works only with light is truly solar-powered.

I have taken apart some cheap "dual-powered" calculators that have an actual battery in them. Those had fake solar cells, and actually ran only off the battery. Look carefully on your calculator and see if there is a place for a little button cell.

From the technical standpoint, it would be possible to charge a small capacitor from a solar cell in a calculator, but that would have little practical value. Even weak indoor lighting is enough to power a calculator, and if the lighting were too dim, you'd have trouble reading the display, anyway. In normal usage, a little button battery lasts for a very long time, possibly years, so there's little to be gained by going to a recharging scheme.

Could Nano Batteries W/Lots Of Solar Panels Be Placed Around The Sun Be Used As Energy For Light Speed Travel?

yes, if you were making light its self travel.

it is not possible to get a ship to go as fast as the speed of light without some how using infinite energy.

just because light is being collected, doesn't mean it can make anything travel at the speed of light.

Are There Resources In Our Solar System Worth Mining Or Harvesting?
Besides On Earth

Depends what you mean by 'worth mining or harvesting'. Right now, the cost of transporting any kind of material from some other part of the Solar System far outweighs the value of the material itself for any practical purpose (right now it is only done for scientific and/or sentimental purposes). However, if you wanted to fly a spaceship to another object in the Solar System and build a base there, there could easily be useful materials present there to support many aspects of the base, including rock to build buildings and radiation shielding out of, water ice to melt down and drink, and soil which could be used to grow plants after some nutrients are added. Furthermore, if you had the technology to make space travel much cheaper than it is now, there are a few resources available elsewhere in the Solar System that might be useful on Earth. The main one is helium-3, which is present on the Moon in much greater quantities than it is on Earth and could conceivably be used in certain types of fusion power plants (although unfortunately we don't have any working fusion power plants yet). The Moon also has uranium which could be used in fission power plants, although the uranium is much heavier (and thus harder to transport) for its energy output than the He3 is. Finally, there is another interesting energy source, sunlight, which is of course present in larger quantities closer to the Sun; it might be useful to build a space-based satellite near the Sun and have it collect sunlight and shoot it back to us in the form of a laser beam. That is rather speculative, though, and with foreseeable technology the energy lost in that process would outweigh the benefit of collecting closer to the Sun.
